If your drilling a lot of holes in metal and you know the size diameter you need you should look into a carbide hole saw and some cutting oil like tap magic. It would depend on the thickness of the smokers aswell. Hope that helps. Might be hard to control how much wood your grinding away. Could also potentially burn the wood if your RPM’s are too high. I guess if your going to progressively sand the wood you would be OK to use these to remove large amounts of wood for initial shaping, if your careful and go slow. |
