Question:	Will this work to seal a gap around my shower drain
Answer:	I have no idea. It works well as a grout to seal between tub and the tile. It should work to fill that gap by drain.
Question:	With the silicone in a tube instead of the cylindric containers that require using a caulking gun, will this not dry out and allow easier reuse
Answer:	The tube is relatively small, so unless doing small projects, there likely won't be any left. However I do have some left and it hasn't dried out since the summer. Just keep in a cool, dry place.

I used this product to skid proof slippers for 4 family members as part of a spa basket set for the holidays. simply put, you need something that dries clear and include instructions to air dry only the slippers (mine machine wash- delicate cycle just fine) the instructions on the yarn for washing need to be followed. Mine came out great following the instructions. I cut out a piece from a cereal box to fit in the bottom of the slipper, applied a piece of wax paper over the form, placed it in the slipper and then applied the caulk to the bottom, wet my finger and spread it out flat and pushed into the fibers, dried upside down and left alone for a couple of weeks, took out the wax paper/cereal box form and it has been a durable pair of slippers for over a year now. This same method works great on cotton rugs and thicker slipper boots for winter.
Question:	how long a normal size bead can be run with 2.8 ounces--for bath tub
Answer:	I ran it around my shower stall, about 15 linear feet and still had about 1/3 of the tube left. It goes on smooth and seals real nice for future use. It sets up fast too, I used my shower about 3 hours later with no problem. I love this stuff, I bought more!

Answer:	It may not be significantly visible, but it will not hide surface cracks of clear glass. Any residue can be cleanly removed on the surface with a razor blade. Whether or not it can be felt depends on the gap width. The number of cracks does not matter, but the type of crack does, and that was not described.

Answer:	It is clear, and I doubt it would hold up under the weather as it doesn’t bond water tight to smooth surfaces. It’s easy to peel off most surfaces.

Answer:	i used it in my kitchen, but honestly the tube is very hard so it makes it difficult to control it and globbed up on me quite a bit. i'd go for the reguar tubes.

Question:	This was awful to apply and the tube ran out before the edges of the standard shower were done. Were you able to finish a whole shower with one tube
Answer:	Yes. Enough silicon to do a shower. I just did one. BUT I will NEVER buy it again or recommend people not to buy it. Do not believe their ad. 1) You cannot deposit a continuous line of caulking because there are lot of air pockets in the tube. These air pockets make it spatters every couple of inches. 2) smoothing the caulk using the attached scrapping head is just a gimmick. Because it spattered every couple of inches, you ended up having to squeeze more silicon out to 'restart' you caulking job every few inches. Lots of excess silicon to clean up afterwards. The scrapping head CANNOT handle the amount of extra caulking and ended up spilled out of the edges and you have to make extra efforts to clean them up. It is like 'cleaning up after the first clean up". Masking the edges using painters tape will make the clean up job easier. But that defeats the 'EASY' part of what this product is about. DON'T believe how EASY their ads show applying and smoothing it out. TOTALLY NOT TRUTH unless you are caulking a only few inches. Another 95% gimmick. Don;t know how the product will last having applied over old caulking without removing it. BUT I plan to redo the entire shower and tub in a few months when I have more time so it doesn't matter. BTW, I ended up using my finger to smooth out the caulking because it did a way better job than the scrapping head. Note: they stopped allowing more review probably because of all the negative comments on this product. that's why I give you a very detailed answer. Hope you can benefit from it.

Question:	What do you recommend for regular maintenance cleaning after application? For example, right now I use a magic eraser. Is that too harsh
Answer:	No that is not too harsh. The AQUA X grout sealer should make routine cleaning much easier. Where you had to scrub, you may now just have to wipe away. But a magic eraser is fine.
Question:	So do I just spray over all my grout (and tiles) and wipe off the tiles afterwards? I don't want to discolor my tiles or have a sticky residue
Answer:	I’d do a test tile first if you have left over tile from the install. I prefer to get a tile grout sealer bottle (Home Depot or Lowe’s) with a small brush or wheel on it & pour the liquid in spray bottle into the sealer bottle & apply with that. Have a damp rag handy to wipe off any sealer that gets on tile. Follow the directions on the bottle thereafter. Our tile didn’t need to be sealed, so we just sealed the grout lines.
Question:	can this product be used on grouted glass subway tiles
Answer:	Thanks for your interest in our products! The AQUA-X Grout Sealer will work great on grout glass subway tiles. Since the tiles are glazed, the AQUA-X Grout Sealer won't seal the tiles, just the grout. Just spray the sealer on the grout/tile and use a lint free cloth to get the excess sealer off the tile.
Question:	We just installed mexican tile in our mudroom. the tiles were sealed prior to grouting. can i use this on the tiles as well or only grout lines

If the tiles are already sealed, then the AQUA-X Grout Sealer won't be able to penetrate into the tiles. At the corner, you can pre-fold it into a 90 degree straight and cut off the excess at the bottom. you will find the funny thing that the excess at the bottom is a small triangle.
