Answer:	It can be used on bare butcher block. It won't significantly yellow like the oil base poly. However, I personally prefer the oil base on working surfaces. But if you apply several coats and LIGHTLY sand with 340-400 paper in between, you will get a durable top.
Question:	Can polycrylic be used on tumblers
Answer:	Yes, if you want your tumbler to be nice and smooth, you can apply polycrylic to it. This is NOT FOOD SAFE. So only apply it outside of the tumbler.
Question:	I put a rusted (patina) steel on my ceiling, i wont be touching it after application. Would this adhere properly if surface is clean
Answer:	If the finish is indeed steel, you will need something like a rustoleum clear sealer. That is for metal surfaces. Poly is generally for wood surfaces.

Answer:	First I want to say this is the best thing I've ever bought. I use it for things I never thought I could. As far as drying time, it usually depends on how thick I am making it. It dries quickly to touch, sometimes minutes, but when I use it as a filler, even though it feels dry, I leave it alone for a longer time.

Answer:	I find those expensive boar bristle brushes good for chalk style paints only if you're after that deeply textured brush stroke look. I'm not a fan of that look. I use the Rustoleum Chalked Paints quite frequently and by far, my favorite brush is the Wooster foam brush. It looks alot like the super cheap foam brushes, but it leaves an incredibly smooth surface and can be washed and reused over and over. If you want a more traditional brush, go with a mid-road synthetic like the Wooster short cut (I swear I don't work for wooster). I also dilute this paint and spray it in an HVLP sprayer for large projects, and it works beautifully!

Answer:	No, it is not but you can buy magnetic primer. You need two coats of the primer and one coat of the chalkboard paint on top.

Clean & Prep

Remove any hardware, wash surface with soap and water and let dry. Remove any loose paint or rust and lightly sand glossy surfaces for better adhesion. Primer is not required for most surfaces, but recommended for bare wood or wood high in tannins such as redwood, mahogany and fir.

Brush On

If primer is used, wait 2 hours before applying finish. Stir thoroughly to re-disperse any settled pigment. Use a high quality synthetic brush to apply light even brush strokes. For each coat applied, allow 2 hours before next coat.

Top Coat

Once last coat dries for at least 8 hours, apply topcoat for extra protection. Apply 1-2 light even coats, waiting 2 hours between coats.

Answer:	Hi Jeremy, We would not recommend this product for fiberglass or a boat. Gel stains do much better on fiberglass and this product was not designed to be used as a marine coating.

Answer:	No more than the usual paint smell. Not objectionable to use. I painted a porch and deck so was outdoors. But, I would expect no problem to paint indoors. Just good practice to ventilate the area.
Question:	Can i paint my travertine stairs with this paint
Answer:	I would not. First of all, it is latex(water based) it will not hold up well on travertine. Secondly, WHY would you ever want to paint travertine? If the tile is porous, you will have to fill it with a cementitious fill and then paint it. If you DO paint it, I would prep it, fill it, prep again, and then use an EPOXY, one or two part, to completely cover and seal it. A good epoxy would be from Armorpoxy.com. Stay away from those big store brand garage floor epoxies.

Answer:	1. I don't think this is the right paint for aluminum or at a minimum, you will need a special "aluminum primer" paint (I think Rust-Oleum makes it). 2. I think for a boat that will stay in the water for much more than a typical 12 hour day each time it is used, you need professional equipment and paint to do the job, probably best left for marine shop.

Answer:	Yes! I've used the white and Oyster White, both successfully. The Oyster White is the closest match you can get to Old English White. The benefit of Topside is the UV protection. Be sure to cut the paint. I did 1 part paint, 3/4 part mineral spirits, and 1/4 part Penetrol (found at Home Depot, used to help the paint lay flatter). I applied the paint with a high density roller and foam brushes where the roller couldn't fit. Two coats, then wet sand with 600 wet/dry paper to remove Orange peel. Two coats, then sand with 800. Then two coats and wet sand with 1000. Two coats then wet sand with 1500. Two coats then wet sand with 2000. A lot of work, but worth the savings IMO. Question:	Can this paint be sprayed in an hvlp gun
Answer:	Yes, according to directions on the container. Reduce with 10-15% xylene. Let dry 24 hours. Sand with #220 between coats.

Answer:	Yes! If you get the tub repair/ paint kit you're spending $30-$60 or more, and this does a better job at $15. Seriously can't beat it.

Question:	How can i make the gray lighter
Answer:	You can't, without changing its function. Use the Kilz Deck Paint for a lighter gray. You might contact Kilz to see if you can mix the two. I thought about that, but Over Armor is like dry wall mud, while the Deck Paint is like paint.
Question:	Would this be good for a garage floor
Answer:	This is not designed for drivable surfaces.
Question:	Will this work on an outdoor deck that is exterior plywood
Answer:	I painted a porch this past summer with two gallons of the Redwood colored product. The porch was made of exterior plywood. I used up more of the product on filling in some of the knot holes but the traction afterwards was fantastic and the look very consistent. Two coats would have been best! I recommend fully for this application.
Question:	Would this work on a boat floor
Answer:	Hello, This isn't a marine-grade product and therefore has not been tested for this kind of application. We wouldn't recommend using it on a boat because we haven't tested it properly and can't guarantee it would hold up.

Answer:	Whatever the box says just add more. I thought I would only need 3 packages but ended up needing four. When in doubt buy more and return the extra if you don't need it.
Question:	can this be applied to linoleum floors
Answer:	I would suggest calling the manufacturer, they were very responsive to me. I did my garage floor and it has held up well for 3 years now. But the coating adheres to the open pores in the concrete. I did a diamond grind on the concrete to prep it. It seems to me that linoleum would not be a good surface for it to adhere properly. It’s possible that scuffing the linoleum or prepping it in some way may work but I would seek the manufacturers recommendation. You can also google the product to get more information.
Question:	would this work on exterior aplications? like coating the congrete for my covered patio
Answer:	I would recommend you research this question at the manufacturer’s website www.milamar.com.

Answer:	I am familiar with this brand / manufacturer. YES it is tough enough, however proper floor preparation is a MUST for ANY epoxy in an industrial environment. Grind the floor to bare concrete with diamond tooling. Meticulously clean it (clean enough to eat off of it). Lack of proper prep is the number ONE reason for any epoxy failures. Apply at about 10 mills thickness and allow to cure overnight. If doing second coat, it MUST be applied within 24 hours of the first coat and then allowed to cure for 24 hours before traffic. Aluminum oxide or quartz can be broadcast into it while wet to give a slip resistant finish. You will love how it performs
