Question:	Has anyone tried to paint just the tire peeling area where Rust Oleum Epoxy shield has chipped away from the tire heat, using just a basic concrete paint
Answer:	It won't work. Just like the epoxy. .. The surface needs a deep etching before painting. Otherwise it will just peel off. Plus the epoxy is stronger than the paint. So putting a weaker product in a high wear area will fail even faster. The solution is using the high mileage epoxy clear coat over the standard epoxy. Then it won't peel under the tires
Question:	I have a work shop with a wood floor, would this stuff work using it on wood floor
Answer:	I used it in my brand new 10x12 wood shed with wood floor. Worked great! Strengthened the CDX plywood. I park two motorcycles in the shed and so far have no issues in the two months since I put it down. I stirred in the grit and spread the paint chips. Put a layer on a wood shelf and work bench. Very happy.
Question:	Can extra chips be added to this to give it a "granite" look
Answer:	I added more chips but didn't give a granite look but still looked nice. Just need to do the clear coat on top when you use more chip, that locks all the chips in.

Answer:	No. I had very little left over after doing my one car garage. Also, i would look to another product, as this stuff is garbage.

Question:	Hello. i have a different color of the same product already applied 2 years ago. can i apply the same product but a different color right in top of it
Answer:	Definitely not, you should remove the caulk completely then using a hand held sander go over the areas were the caulk was, then using hydraulic cement fill in the cracks and with a trowel smooth them over. If the floor was never etched etch the entire area to be finished, before you use the hydraulic cement.

Answer:	check out this link and yes it would be best if you rent a floor sander with a Medium Grit do the whole floor lightly, this will insure proper adhesion, if you notice any of the previous finish breaking,popping up use a scraper and then sand feathering it to the old finish then use a suitable rusto-oelum primer specifically for use with this product. Question:	Minimum temperature of aplication
Answer:	I've done 2 garage floors, 4 years apart. First time it came with cans you had to mix but the one I did this year came with pouches. Pouches worked better, press hard and center divider opens and then knead until it is mixed. Cut off a corner and pour into the paint tray.

Answer:	Whatever the box says just add more. I thought I would only need 3 packages but ended up needing four. When in doubt buy more and return the extra if you don't need it.
Question:	can this be applied to linoleum floors
Answer:	I would suggest calling the manufacturer, they were very responsive to me. I did my garage floor and it has held up well for 3 years now. But the coating adheres to the open pores in the concrete. I did a diamond grind on the concrete to prep it. It seems to me that linoleum would not be a good surface for it to adhere properly. It’s possible that scuffing the linoleum or prepping it in some way may work but I would seek the manufacturers recommendation. You can also google the product to get more information.

Answer:	I am familiar with this brand / manufacturer. YES it is tough enough, however proper floor preparation is a MUST for ANY epoxy in an industrial environment. Grind the floor to bare concrete with diamond tooling. Meticulously clean it (clean enough to eat off of it). Lack of proper prep is the number ONE reason for any epoxy failures. Apply at about 10 mills thickness and allow to cure overnight. If doing second coat, it MUST be applied within 24 hours of the first coat and then allowed to cure for 24 hours before traffic. Aluminum oxide or quartz can be broadcast into it while wet to give a slip resistant finish. You will love how it performs

Answer:	You mean peeling,no this product is for garage floors out of the sun, you’re going to have to scrape off all the loose paint, clean it real good and then they have exterior concrete primers for that you’re going to need and then the best patio paint they have two coats of the paint.
Question:	Do i need to buy concrere etch separately
Answer:	Acid etch is included in the kit. If your garage floor has oil stains, make sure you buy some degreaser and use it prior to etching.
Question:	Has anyone applied this paint over a cement garage floor with a sealer coating without doing all the recommended acid treatment. How did it turnout
Answer:	Not well. My contractor said he didn't need to do anything but scrub. But I did an acid wash the day prior, though probably not a perfect job. I stayed off for a week. Still peeled off where the tires sat.
Question:	Is this floor slick when it is dry
Answer:	It can be if it's not relatively clean. I've accidentally let some WD40 overspray get on the floor, and then later almost slipped and fell on my head! So - yes, certain spills can make it slippery. HOWEVER - it is NOT slippery if the surface is dry and relatively clean. Heck, WD40 or oil spills can make anything slippery. Just use your head and don't land on it! This coating is awesome - mine has been perfect for about 13 years now.

Answer:	No, we do not recommend acid etching.
Question:	Where can I see the colors listed in the options
Answer:	Supercoat is best applied in a temperature range of 60 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. It can be applied above 90 degrees but the working life ( time to apply) will be shortened. One of the characteristics of epoxy is that it "chalks" in UV light. This means that the coating loses some of its luster due to direct sunlight. The Glaze Coat has UV inhibitors that help with this issue, so I would highly recommend using the Glaze Coat.
Question:	Can you use over a previously painted concrete floor
Answer:	Yes acid etching is required. I spoke with the owner and if the directions are followed the finished product is remarkable. I use a torch, weld, and plasma cut in the area where the finish is installed. The finish is 1 1/2 years old and there isn't any degradation. I highly recommend this product.

Answer:	John,you need to buy the best roller you can find (short hair) and in regular size (9" in length). I did purchase at Amazon the roller https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000RUOEBO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and roller frame https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00002N6IZ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 both did a good job to do a two car garage but don't believe they would have hold much longer. Best wood be to buy two roller and change...it will be easier on you. You can buy an extender pole but make sure it is strong....I did purchase a cheap one and did not use it anymore after it started to bend all over and the main problem was that the roller frame kept coming loose from the pole...very annoying. If you have back problem you will need to buy one. You will also to buy a cheap small hand brush (not more than 2" wide) to do the wall edges. Dean
