Answer:	Get the paint code from the car VIN tag (usually under the hood or inside driver door, and go to the Duplicolor website and look up by application.
Question:	Can this product be remove from painted walls without damage
Answer:	I ordered 3 cans of paint, two of them were so old that no matter how long you shook them, the paint came out in globs & they were useless. I tried to RMA the paint, but Amazon told me that I couldn't ship them back because they're flamable, but I couldn't have a refund unless I returned the product. I've had good success with dupli-color before when buying it from the Auto Parts store, but I would recommend getting it locally rather than on Amazon.
Question:	What is the square feet that this covers
Answer:	You should not have to paint the entire bumper. First, prep the area where the scratch is. Clean the entire bumper, then depending on the depth of the scratch, you may want to lightly sand and area surrounding the scratch until all is smooth. Then wipe lightly with laquer thinner. Mask off the bumper to isolate it from the car. Get Dupli-color primer and apply a few light coats. Let them dry well before applying more. This will build up the area around the scratch that you had sanded. Let the primer dry overnight. Next, get some 400 and 600 grit sandpaper (wet type) and with a wet piece of 400, sand lightly the entire primed area. Keep dipping the paper in water and don't use fingertips! Clean area with wet cloth and repeat process with 600grit wet paper and you can then sand some of the areas surrounding the primer (scuff the painted surfaces around the repair) Clean it up with damp clothes and let dry. Apply the paint in light coats in a side to side motion. Don't try to cover the primer too fast. Light coats work best and allow dry time in between coats. Eventually the primer will be covered and some of the new paint will then overlap the original paint on bumper (this is part of the blending process) Once all is covered and you cannot see the primer under the paint, let it dry overnight.Next day, get some 1000 grit wet paper and sand the entire repair area lightly. This will help smooth out the new paint. Dont sand too hard so as to make the primer exposed. Sand beyond the new paint so as to scuff up the old untouched paint on the bumper. You are getting the surrounding area ready for the clear cloat blend.Wipe with clean wet cloth and when thoroughly dry you can apply the dupli color clear coat using the same light coat, overlap method. Now you will want to go beyond the repair area bringing the clear coat into the original painted surfaces by a few inches all around. Let the clear coat dry in between coats. Once clear is applyed, let it dry overnight. Next day you can wet sand the entire repair area with 1000 wet paper. Remember, no finger tips. Use your palm or get a sanding block but go lightly. Once you have finished sanding, wipe clean with wet cloth and then polish with Light polishing compound. You can do this by hand if you dont have a buffer. It may sound complicated, but that's a process that will give you the best results outside of going to a body shop. Another consideration, if the scratch is small, get a bottle of duplicolor touch up. It has the brush built in and you can possibly just carefully use the brush and paint to fill in the scratch. Question:	Can this be rolled or brushed on? Will it leave brush marks on a cast iron stove? Wondering if I should go with a spray vs this paint
Answer:	I brushed it onto the stainless steel stove pipe so it would match our stove. With 2 coats, I havent noticed any brush marks, but I havent gotten right up on it. From 2-3 feet away, it just looks matted black, and you dont get the runs you'll get with spray paint.
Question:	Can this be used to paint cast iron gas stove burner grates?? Thanks
Answer:	We used this paint on our firewall in our fire place and it worked great. Really gave the fireplace a new, clean look. The paint is a flat finish so using it for stove grates may not look attractive. Our gas stove grates have a factory high gloss finish and wipe clean very easily. I suggest you go to Rutland's website and see if the paint is available in other finishes. Good Luck.
Question:	Would this adhere to tile/brick around a firplace
Answer:	It will definitely adhere to the brick. I have used it inside my fireplaces on several new homes to keep the firebox black. It will eventually burn off in some places on so I just repaint it every couple of years.

Answer:	Good to know about not using it inside a fireplace. The description said it was "Adheres to steel, cast iron, aluminum, brick, and most other metals" and I almost bought it for the bricks inside my fireplace!

Answer:	It'll work on wood but it won't give wood MORE fire resistance than it has already (which isn't much). Wood combusts at about 300° F so this paint is way overkill, the wood will long be burned away while the paint stays. Get the regular "High Heat" paint (this one is "High Heat Max"). This is designed for metal that get's hot so the paint itself won't burn off. The real question is why do you have a flammable lid for a FIRE pit?

Answer:	Yes , after you remove the pealing paint, spray on.

Answer:	I needed to do the same with my old grill. Inside the top the old paint was flakening off. After scraping I sprayed on with the Krylon. The problem was that additional flakening continued to occur and hence more flaks falling on the food. Maybe if you took the grill top off and sanded it completely then all would be okay in using the Krylon.

Answer:	Not sure this answers your question but I can tell you from experience that this stuff really works. I used it on my aluminum engine top side and it's been 2yrs and my engine paint still look new to date.

Answer:	i used this product on my 4 pistion calipers and tested them at my campus garage, i tested it under constant and heavy braking, it withstood temps up too 1989F. The red paint i used has been on there for 3 years and i still havent had to touch up the paint

Question:	Do you think I could spray my oven racks with this? Would it scratch off at the bottom
Answer:	I used this for the exterior of my BBQ grill not the metal racks but the enclosure/ exterior body. I personally would not spray this on my oven racks for safety reasons.

Answer:	Water resistant? Kind of but not submersible.
Question:	will this fix Crack in firebox
Answer:	You can't say one glue is better than another without knowing the application. This is great stuff though and now my general go-to adhesive. I'd still use E6000 for things that were porous, required more gap filling, or flexibility.
Question:	Can this be used to install wood stove door gaskets
Answer:	I have used it on glass that is for outside decorations. It worked great. Just allow 24-48 hours to set.

Answer:	Yes, I believe it would be. It depends on surface... raw wood is good application for it. painted surface or plastic surface would not stick as well
