Question:	Can you actually see through these? I am needing a clear fastener for some file folder games. I'd like to be able to see what is under each fastener
Answer:	It’s both sides are interlocking hardened you, plastic material. Velcro are plastic loops broken into tiny hooks, the other side is material with 100’s of tiny strands forming loops, the plastic hooks catch the loops. It may hold 1/16 th lb a 1/32 of a lb THESE LOCKTIGHT strips, are nearly unbreakable. I’ve honestly On items where they were affixed with the adhesive back, pulled the adhesive apart not knowing. Now I I understand they separate easier with a rolling off action than dead straight pulling apart. I promise you this is so far ( this exact kind, there’s a similar version made to hang small pics, those are not this), so MUCH STRONGER than anything you’ve used it’s easily strong enough to hold expensive equipment I use. If you need a great resource to affix battery packs, or pieces idk what together, that’s weather proof, condition proof, and won’t wear out, this is it!!!!

Answer:	Any tape measure will rust when exposed to water unless it has a stainless steel blade. Best practice is to always wipe the blade dry when exposed to excess moisture and do a final wipe with a dry rag which has a small amount of WD-40 sprayed on it.

Since it is rounded, the distance to the tape is variable depending on where the back of the case is making contact with the wall. A fundamental design flaw in my eyes.

It also has an indication of 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8" above the 32nds ticks on the bottom indicators. the top indication is 1/16" scale. Please note that the UNDERSIDE of the tape has indications as well with another 1/16" scale and metric.
