Answer:	No. I recommend the water washable resin. It costs a bit more but you get the same results without the hassle and expense of buying 90%+ alcohol to rinse your completed pieces and wash the tank.

Answer:	I can confirm there is no actual screen protector on the bare lcd. There is a shipping protector, but because of its application at the factory it's unusable as a screen protector. I asked elegoo directly about it or a suggestion for one and was told there isn't and won't be, because they offer a "limited" warranty on the screen itself. That limited warranty and the down time wasn't acceptable to me. I wound up snagging a tablet screen protector(not a matte finish) from walmart and overlaying it before I did anything, and it's worked fine since. Tldr, it's still a bare screen. There is a thin one on it for shipping purposes, but it's inadequate for protection uses.

Answer:	The carbon filters are absolutely replaceable. They just dont sell any specially made replacement cartidges. And you will have to open the printer to change the carbon filter. However the factory installed carbon filter will work for hundreds of printing hours if not more. Ive had my printer for about 2 months nonstop printing and have never noticed an odor

Answer:	I believe the .045 or .05 is in reference to the "Z" axis resolution. I forget how the "X" &"Y" resolution is calculated, but I believe its a calculation based on the masking LCD resolution.

Answer:	no you will have to completely start the print over with a complete loss of power. there are no snippers with the printer.

Answer:	You're getting UV bleed through, since the first layers anchor everything to the plate your BOTTOM LAYERS will have an extended cure time that extra time allows UV to bleed through and cure resin around the open screen. It's not actually "squished" but more or less "Chonky" there is no way of fixing that if you are printing directly onto the plate except sanding it back down

Answer:	If you don't but it from Creality directly, they won't honor a warranty. I've had this model before and the screen cracks very easily. Went through multiple before I said enough and got a different resin printer.

Question:	What version is the board
Answer:	The newest version of the board is 1.1.5, it does not come with the printer though. Mine came with 1.1.4 which is very similar to the 1.1.3. Creality Sells the 1.1.5 separately right now as the Creality v1.1.5 Silent Main Board. It is $50 bucks and you might find it cheaper but it is a worthwhile upgrade. It has newer stepper drivers that make the stepper motors virtually silent. I can't hear them anymore only the fans now. The board also has thermal runaway enabled and has a boot loader preinstalled so if you wanted to switch to Vanilla Marlin or the TH3D software you could do so very easily. Installing this board and the TH3D software also made adding a BL Touch kit easy.

Question:	What is the physical footprint of this unit
Answer:	The actual base footprint itself requires a flat 12" x 12" surface, however certain parts such as the display panel overhang requiring a bit more space. A roughly 16" wide by about 20" deep space should be about right, although you will want to make sure both the back and front have an additional few inches to spare as the bed does move back and forth during operation. I mount mine on top of a 16" x 18" patio paver block for support and stability. I place the paver block over some dense foam that is cut about 1" in from the block edge (14" x 16"). This gives the printer a platform that helps contribute mass to absorb vibrations as well as offer a bid of noise reduction cause by sound transmission through the base. Placed a few inches from the back wall it also ensures the printer travel area remains clear. There is also YouTube video on using this technique if interested (not mine but I came across it after I came up with the same idea separately).

Answer:	It does come with a very old version of Cura. The lastest version of Cura is what I am using. Just download it from https://ultimaker.com/en/products/ultimaker-cura-software/list. If all you are doing is downloading models and printing this is all you need. If you want to make your own 3D models that complicates things. There are many, many 3d modeling programs and which one to use is a very personal choice and each takes time to learn to use. Blender is free, Sketch-up is also I think. But there are commercial programs that can cost up to a couple of thousand to use. Zbrush, Studio Max, and others. Question:	Anyone experience a grind? As if the magnets disconnected when washing after about 30-45 seconds
Answer:	Not with the OEM cleaning tub. I have with the aftermarket impeller I printed for use in a larger tub, but I corrected it by doubling up on the magnet strength on the impeller. You might need to lubricate your OEM impeller with some waterproof lithium grease.
Question:	On the turning plate for UV curing, do you need to remove the brown cover that comes on it or leave it on
Answer:	The brown paper should be removed, it is there to protect the glass (plexiglass?) turning plate during shipping. It is well-adhered, but if you can get under one edge, you should be able to pull it off in one go.
Question:	Can acetone be used as the cleaning liquid in this machine
Answer:	I'm not sure, I only use the elegoo water washable resins, because I don't have to use alchohol to clean my resin prints. And it saves money with not having to buy alcohol for cleaning. From what I read about the tolerance of acetone to plastic... the container is thick enough to tolerate it. But I myself have not tested it.
Question:	Has anyone tried this product with other solutions besides ipa? would mean green cause issues
Answer:	IPA is the best, forget the You Tubers who claim Simple Green and Mean Green are better... there are not. I still have to get rid of some Simple Green I tried that barely removed resin after twice as long as the IPA.

Washing with Printing Platfrom

If the printed model is not removed from the build platform, please mount the build platform to the adjustable platform bracket (The height of the platform bracket can be adjusted to fit the liquid level in the bucket, up to a maximum model height of 120 mm), then hang the adjustable platform bracket on top of the pillar to start the cleaning.

Washing with Bucket

If the printed model has been removed from the build platform already, you will need to place the model in the cleaning basket (maximum model height is 160 mm) and hang the cleaning basket on top of the pillar to start cleaning the model. Question:	How many 28mm miniatures would I get out of a 500mL or a 1000mL bottle of resin
Answer:	Assuming 28mm tall, 15 mm wide, and 7 mm deep, that gets you 2.625 cm^3. Assuming supports are about 1/4 the volume of the figurine, that’s 3.28 ml per figurine. 1000/3.28=305 figurines 500/3.28=152 figurines But 28 mm is miniscule. You won’t be able to see anything without a magnifying glass (though the printer can still handle it if you get the settings right)

Question:	Is this unit required to use with the anycubic 3d printers
Answer:	no, it is not required. Just pay attention to the size of the bucket that came with this machine and make sure your 3d printed models are not larger than the bucket. You should be fine if you use any of those small size resin printers like Elegoo Mars, Mars Pro, Mars Pro 2, Phorzen sonic mini.....just to name a few.
Question:	Does the Elegoo Mars Pro build plate hook into this or will it need an adapter
Answer:	No! it does not fit Mars Pro's build plate. The build plate knob and the adjustable bracket come in contact with each other just a bit, but the diameter of the build plate screw is too big for the 2 adapters that come with the Anycubic unit. I will put both of the parts in a vise and reem them out with a drill to widen it enough to accept the build plate screw. Otherwise just remove the print and put it in the basket.
Question:	Can you put the build plate from the anycubic photon mono x in it or do you need to take your work off the build plate and wash it separately
Answer:	I don’t have the mono X but both the Photon and Photon mono SE both fit in along with the build just fine. The hit has an adjustable height bracket to hand the build plates so they are immersible in the IPA capacity of the provided container.
Question:	Mine spins the platform for a half second, stops, then starts constantly beeping. Anyone have this happen
Answer:	there's an IR light in the back, if you don't have the lid on the right way (there's a white square on one side) to trigger that IR sensor it won't work. It's a safety measure.

Question:	what do I use to rinse my prints and what happens if I dont
Answer:	use isoprophyl alchohol 90% or higher, or you can use denatured alchohol, acetone is harsh but it works, use those to wash away the resin, dip in and swish around for a cpl minutes then rinse in water. if you dont then the resin sits on the print and all the details will be covered when you cure it, also that wet resin is still toxic so its not safe
