Question:	What version is the board
Answer:	The newest version of the board is 1.1.5, it does not come with the printer though. Mine came with 1.1.4 which is very similar to the 1.1.3. Creality Sells the 1.1.5 separately right now as the Creality v1.1.5 Silent Main Board. It is $50 bucks and you might find it cheaper but it is a worthwhile upgrade. It has newer stepper drivers that make the stepper motors virtually silent. I can't hear them anymore only the fans now. The board also has thermal runaway enabled and has a boot loader preinstalled so if you wanted to switch to Vanilla Marlin or the TH3D software you could do so very easily. Installing this board and the TH3D software also made adding a BL Touch kit easy.

Question:	What is the physical footprint of this unit
Answer:	The actual base footprint itself requires a flat 12" x 12" surface, however certain parts such as the display panel overhang requiring a bit more space. A roughly 16" wide by about 20" deep space should be about right, although you will want to make sure both the back and front have an additional few inches to spare as the bed does move back and forth during operation. I mount mine on top of a 16" x 18" patio paver block for support and stability. I place the paver block over some dense foam that is cut about 1" in from the block edge (14" x 16"). This gives the printer a platform that helps contribute mass to absorb vibrations as well as offer a bid of noise reduction cause by sound transmission through the base. Placed a few inches from the back wall it also ensures the printer travel area remains clear. There is also YouTube video on using this technique if interested (not mine but I came across it after I came up with the same idea separately).
Question:	Does it come with any needed software? If so - what kind
Answer:	It does come with a very old version of Cura. The lastest version of Cura is what I am using. Just download it from https://ultimaker.com/en/products/ultimaker-cura-software/list. If all you are doing is downloading models and printing this is all you need. If you want to make your own 3D models that complicates things. There are many, many 3d modeling programs and which one to use is a very personal choice and each takes time to learn to use. Blender is free, Sketch-up is also I think. But there are commercial programs that can cost up to a couple of thousand to use. Zbrush, Studio Max, and others. Answer:	You're really constrained by your max temperature which is around 260 to 275 C. Functionally, I'd keep it below 250 to avoid degrading the PTFE tubing. That temperature will allow you to print most of the common materials like petg and abs on top of what is listed.
Question:	Is the printer quiet? how does the noise level compare to other 3d printers like the prusa
Answer:	I have one of these and honestly its quieter then my CR10. I measured the sound level and it was between 49-51 decibels which is the equivalent of a quiet office and that was when it was printing and its stock no upgrades to the fans or drivers this printer is nice.

Answer:	With correct settings absolutely.
Question:	Does this have the Broken/Out of filament detection
Answer:	Yes. It looks the same as the one on the CR6SE, but it seems to interact better with the printing process and be a net positive. The catch is that when it tries to return filament after it's passed through the sensor, it's hard for it to really feed it back. I don't believe it detects forward momentum, just presence of filament, so it won't detect breakages between the filament sensor and the extruder gear.
Question:	what profile is used in cura, it does not have the ender3 max listed
Answer:	My Ender 3 Max runs well by selecting the Ender 3 profile. In the initial set up you can change the default print bed size to 300 x 300 x 340.
Question:	Did they fix the issue with the endstop so its adjustable
Answer:	Unfortunately the z-stop is bolted into the frame... Why? Who knows. The pro I believe has an adjustable end stop. I am looking at just adding a shim when needed on the z-axis motor plate directly above the end-stop switch

Question:	Having problems with extruder about half-way through each of the first two projects. Advice
Answer:	First make sure you have proper heat. PLA I run at 198C. ABS 245C. Next make sure you have PTFE tube is all the way down to the bottom of the print head. PTFE tube goes about an inch or so down into the print head. If it is not fully in could cause heat creep melting filiment to soon clogging before it gets to the nozzle.

Resume Print

When attempting some larger prints, even a 3-second power outage could spell disaster for a model already 10 hours or more into a longer print. Design

Popular free to download slicing software such as Cura will divide or "slice" the 3D model into thin horizontal layers. A large multitude of previously designed 3D models are readily available on various internet websites for free. The software then creates a code that your printer can read and understand. Basically a set of instructions for the hardware in the printer. Save this "Gcode" file to a microSD card like a normal file. Many profiles are already available for use with the Ender 3 through Cura.

Ready

Upload the file to your printer via the microSD card. Ensure that the building surface or "hotbed" is level with the nozzle or "hotend" and start the print. The Ender 3 will automatically read the code in the file you selected and start extruding molten plastic filament onto the printing surface.

Question:	What is the cause of the filament not being pulling through
Answer:	if the filament is not going through, you more than likely have a clog or turn the temp up. i wouldn't print pla below 200 or petg below 235, each roll you buy has the recommended temps on the side.if turning the temp up doesn't fix the problem, you need a cleaning kit or need to take apart the hotend to fix it.

Answer:	Did you feed the filament all the way down to the hotend? Cause that sounds like its retracting on z hop which is a slicer setting

Answer:	i can compare it to a cr10s, it's a very nice printer. 24v mks based board and touchscreen. i would highly recommend this printer for people new to 3d printing. i am an advanced user and it's too simplified for my liking, so i changed the board to a btt skr 1.4 turbo with a tft 35 screen. out of the box you won't be disappointed. just keep in mind because it's so simplified,in the future you might want to upgrade the firmware. they do supply bltouch firmware if you request it.very upgrade-able for future changes. you won't get hurt with this purchase at all for the price. i have considered buying a couple more for printing masks in florida when i am able.it's basically a cr10s v2 clone, but all in one. good luck.

Answer:	7"x10" is no go unless you print in 2 parts and glue together.4"x7" is possible in one go on this machine but your molds will give you chocolate that shows all the layers of plastic.Also polycarbonate prints will likely leech PBA into the chocolate like crazy.I recommend vacuum forming for food molds.Look up leaftechllc dot com. That guy can make vacuum molds for you for hobby prices.

It works well, if you have a systems requirement appropriate PC and don't rotate the scanner clockwise/counterwise while scanning - will lose lock on the object if you do so. Will also lose lock if you move in closer than 15 inches to the object. The slower you scan, the better the resolution, right up to fabric texture. They also make a version for an iPad.
