Answer:	Either can be correct! Some wheels come with internal threads (5/8 -11) and some wheels have nothing but 7/8" hole so you will need a 5/8 -11 nut and a washer bossed to a 7/8 " diameter. Most grinders come with the washer adapter and some wheels even include the adapter. What typically happens is one purchases an internal treaded wheel, and there is no need for the washer/adapter. Years later, when they purchase a wheel with just a 7/8" hole, they have forgotten where they put the adapter. No problem, Amazon sells the lost adapter at a very low cost.
Question:	So the 7/8 one and 5/8-11 both fit most grinders.one on spindle and other on washer. Which one is correct
Answer:	This grinding wheel is for metal. It will clog too fast to do you any good. They have masonry wheels that will cut and grind bricks to concrete.

Answer:	They do screw onto the grinder's shaft, you have to remove the retainers (washers) that came with the grinder, but once your done and switch back they are simply just placed back on in the order you took them off. On another note; the dewalt wheels last much longer than other brands, I was buying the others on sale only to discover these last longer and are much better.

Answer:	They are actually VERY good on wood. Much faster than most sanders. You have to have a steady hand though.

Answer:	The hole is 7/8''. If your grinder has 5/8'' threads it should have a 7/8'' shoulder . If you have 1/4 threads it will have a 5/8'' shoulder. The hole in the disc is not threaded.

Answer:	Depending on how much rust you want remove, a flap disk will do it but, 40grit ,80 grit will also leave deep scratches Mark's on metal. Try a wire wheel 4 inch or smaller dependent on the size of the material. It's just as fast and won't leave Mark's. Disks are better for removing material.
