Question:	How to attache aquabug to Bestway easy set pool? They changed from a hole for intake to a flat piece with nowhere to plug in the suction hose
Answer:	I had trouble understanding the whole setup. Having had the old bug before, I found that you can disregard the new attachments and use it like the older one. By this I mean that once you fill the hose and critter with water ( submerged by the water from pump), just put the narrow adapter end of hose into your skimmer and cut back your water flow coming out of pool and into your pump. This is something I had done before and it works with this newer version as well. The bug performs better without the full force of suction I found. Hope this helps !

Answer:	Same thing happened to mine after about 2 weeks & did all troubleshooting techniques & still nothing... waste of money.

Answer:	No, you attach it to the intake line of your existing pump. In my case, I have a skimmer. I plug the vacuum cleaner into the skimmer, and now the vacuum is doing the work

Answer:	It is very quiet , and I don’t know about the return policy as I’m not returning mine .

Answer:	Battery lasts about 30-45 minutes. Then it goes home and recharges for an hour. Then it tries to go back to where it left off (sometimes it gets lost on a room it already cleaned) and the battery lasts 20-30 minutes. Then home again.

Answer:	R7040 will connect to the SmartThings, but it currently does not connect to Google Home.
Question:	where do i buy the piece that goes over the brush
Answer:	If it broke recently- you are better off returning it as defective. You can call their toll-free parts number, which should be on the manual. It actually goes to a 3rd party parts supplier. My experience has been that they don't have parts for this vacuum, and their support is pretty awful.

Question:	Would this pickup dirt from a water fountain? I know it can do debris but I have like fine silt sand that I need to get out of the fountain
Answer:	I think it would pick it up. The only question would be if the silt was so fine it might actually go through the filter back into the fountain. If this happened, you don't have to drain the water back into the fountain.. just hold all the water / silt in the catch tube and then drain it on the ground. Hope this helps.
Question:	Could this be used in a kiddie pool? Or must the shamber be submerged fully in water in order to suck up debris
Answer:	It's not really designed to be used in shallow water. The chamber "sucks" better the deeper it is submerged. If you were to lay it on its side in a kiddie pool, and it's underwater, it will pull water (and debris) into it but not with much force. If it's 1-3 feet or more underwater it has a lot of pull. For your kiddie pool this is probably not so much bang for your buck. But then again I'm not sure what would work better for cheaper. Good luck.
Question:	Could this be used to clean a fountain
Answer:	Only if the fountain is deeper than the large part of the unit and the area to be cleaned is small. The cleaning vacuum is of very short duration.
Question:	How do i remove the filter to clean it
Answer:	The bottom plastic screws off so that the dirty filter can be cleaned. Just use a water hose to wash it out. A tip...keep it straight up while doing so or your dirt will get in the barrel and you will have to clean that too...a minor thing, just wash it out (but I try not to make extra work). It is a nifty gadget...simple concept, inexpensive.

The Bestway Pool Vacuum is simple to set up and easy to use. Just attach to your filter pump with one of the included adapters and start cleaning. Debris is sucked into a removable and reusable leaf bag. The vacuum set contains four lightweight aluminum poles which join together to create a 7' pole. Great for cleaning pools with less than a 15' diameter. There are two interchangeable conversion nozzles that connect to the pole. one with a brush for battling stubborn grime and a standard pool vacuum head for sucking up loose debris. You effectively get two pool vacuum cleaners in one! .

Question:	There is some very fine dust like substance at the bottom of the pool. Will this vacuum pick this dust up without shooting it out and clouding the pool
Answer:	Yes. It comes with a really fine mesh insert and it does a great job for the really small stuff in my pool. I love this vac!
Question:	Does it work on summer waves above ground pools
Answer:	I’m not positive but I’m guessing it does. It came with several adapters. I used the larger 2” adapter for my Intex 15’ pool. I think the other size is about 1.5”. Don’t expect super high quality, it is cheaply made, but it works.
Question:	does it come with both vacuum heads as pictured
Answer:	Yes it does. The larger head works perfectly with my intex 16' metal frame pool.

Question:	Map won't load! i have map saving enabled with the latest firmware. but it always gets stuck on "loading map". help
Answer:	I'd remove the device from MiHome and re-add it. It happened to me one time and that fixed it for me.
Question:	Do you have to have Alexa to use this vacuum and is it easy to set up
Answer:	It is easy to set up. You don't have to connect this vacuum with Alexa if you didn't need that.
Question:	can i replace water with bona for mopping
Answer:	I certainly do, ignoring the manufacturer warnings to only use water. I don’t think anyone that cares about a super clean home is satisfied with a superficial water mopping. The worst that can happen is that the filters clog up. You get two replacement pairs of filters with the vacuum and online replacements are cheap. Seems like a low risk to me. Haven’t had any problems with it clogging up and I am loving my beautiful clean hardwood floors. I think Bona and other water based cleaners are fine. The manufacturer warning is a little over zealous and they probably want to avoid returns of units. I’m also sure people use other harsh cleaners which can clog those filters up quicker, but I think the risk is small with Bona. Use and enjoy. Haven’t vacuumed or mopped since I bought this unit.
Question:	Can this be used on laminate floors
Answer:	Yes, we have hardwood floors, carpet, snap stone porcelain floor, and laminate wood floor in our house and it will go from one surface to the other without any problems. I also have area rugs and it goes from the floor onto the rug with no problems. Hope this helps.
