Question:	Does hair get tangled in the rollers ? I own a small salon and would like to run this at night as an extra measure of tidiness
Answer:	I CAN STATE WITHOUT QUALIFICATION..That this handles hair better than anything else I have tried. I was worried about it cause my Shark Pet Vacuum became hopelessly wrapped up in our pet hair over time and I could not see how this little battery powered unit could work.. but.. I HAVE TESTED IT AND FOUND IT GOOD.. cause the rubber beater bars are solid (no little brushes for the hair to wind around and get caught in).. and when the hair does wrap around it, I can reach down, push my finger UNDERNEATH the hair cause the rubber is soft and hollow.. so I can push it down, get my finger under the hair and pull it up.. thereby breaking it and removing it easily. Granted my I3 is only 2 weeks old but I took it upstairs to my carpet and it had trouble with the huge quantity of hair (only to be expected) so I vacuumed with my super duty kenmore to get the major amount of hair up, then tried it again and it worked perfectly this time.. (before it would fill up the bin every 5 minutes so it was a drag) and it only filled up the bin every 20 minutes. Every time I emptied the bin, I looked for stuck hair wrapped around the roller and only a small amount .. maybe one hair was wrapped around it. I removed it as above and returned it to service.
Question:	How far does it travel (distance)? How long does it clean
Answer:	My house is one level 2600 square feet of livable space it does the entire house bathrooms kitchen laundry room dining rooms bedroom everything it starts at 8am finish at 2:30 depending on how dirty and amount of times it has to recharge and resume cleaning as you send it out daily it will determine if the area is clean enough and focus more time on where it feels it dirty but does every area until sensors say it’s clean
Question:	Can i use two towers with one rumba
Answer:	Two Clean Bases may be used in separate areas of the home. During a clean mission Roomba will only return to the Clean Base it was started from.

Question:	Does it clean in a random or organized pattern
Answer:	To me it seems random although it is supposed to have an algorithm to do cleaning. it is definitely not organized as if you were mowing your lawn. It does part of the living room and then goes into the kitchen for awhile, comes back out and does more living room including part that it did already, then it wanders down the hall, then back into the kitchen, etc. It is definitely organized about how it does walls. It gets close but not against them and then it goes back and goes right up against them. I'm sure there is some cleaning logic to all this but it seems semi-random to me.

Question:	In order for rhis vacuum to work, do i have to lay these strips all over my floor? Im a little confused about that part
Answer:	The strips are to keep it from going to a place. So if you have a room you don't want it to go to, you put the strips on the floor in the doorway and it will stay out of the room. I have not had to use the strips. If i was using it where there were stairs going down then I would put the strip there just to make sure it didn't fall down the stairs although I think it is supposed to detect that. But I would be a little paranoid about an expensive item.
Question:	I have narrowed my search to the shark ion rv720 and the iroomba 652. i don't need wi-fi. which is the most efficient and best quality
Answer:	I’ve had our Shark 720 for 2 wks and this product exceeds my expectations. We have a 2,000 sq. ft. Home and it is able complete the job without power loss. When emptying debris tray, I always give the back of the hepa filter a quick cleaning with my hand vac. We have 2 miniature Dachshunds and it has tremendously with dog hair pickup. I do not program my unit, either manually hit the clean button on unit or remote by my recliner to start. Just do a quick check around the house for things that it might get hung on before releasing . Enjoy this convenient tool. We call her HAZEL ! 👌

Answer:	It does have an auto option but I could never figure out the timer and how to set it. I just turn it on everyday and let it go.
Question:	How well does this transition between rooms over a thresh hold (tile to hardwood and back)? Thanks
Answer:	I have thresholds between rooms that are slightly rounded so it can get stuck sometimes. The flatter the transition the easier it moves from room to room.
Question:	Mine is charged, worked for about 2 seconds, then went looking for the charging station. Is it time for a new battery or robot vacuum
Answer:	How old it the unit?
Question:	Would this pick up cheerios or cat food? Has rollers or just brushes? I need on vinyl and carpet
Answer:	Mine is the BL800 and it has been picking up clipped dog toenails, so cheerios and cat food should be no problem for it either. The BL800 has roller brush under it and a three-point brush system that runs to pull in items that are out to the sides and direct it to the roller brush. I am running it over hardwood floors, floor runners and plush carpet and it transitions between each with little problems. I have some thin runners that it sometimes rolls up. But hey, it's not catching on it, I just find it in a roll over to the side, and it keeps on going. I just unroll them when done. (Not typical I'm sure, but it's like I have a little maid that is rolling them up!)

Question:	Has anyone had one for more than 6 months? How is it holding up? Another brand appears to die after a couple months
Answer:	I have had the 500 series for more than 4 years now and it is still going stong. I bought a cheaper brand a few months ago and had to send it back after a week. it just did not measure up. now I have a two storey house so, i am purchasing a 860 model. I hope it last as long as my 500 series.
Question:	How tall is the roomba 860 - need to know if it will get under my furniture
Answer:	3 1/8" at the leading edge and slightly higher in the middle. Mine goes under most furniture; however, it always gets caught under my bedroom furniture because the bottom is exactly 3 1/8" high, which allows the leading edge in but which also catches the Roomba a few inches in. I cannot have my bedroom cleaned on a schedule because of this -- I have to stick objects at the bottom of my dresser, armoir, and chest of drawer to keep this from happening. I love, though, that the Roomba vacuums under my bed.
Question:	We have a two bedroom apartment - will the 860 Roomba go between the rooms, or does it only stick to one room
Answer:	As long as you aren't using the virtual wall, the Roomba will go wherever it can. My Roomba is set up on a floor with five rooms, and it goes into them all, although I need to use it at least twice a week to make sure it gets to everything. Three times is even better.
Question:	What is the difference between this model and the 960 beside the price
Answer:	The 960 uses the most advanced technology to map rooming using the ceiling of the room. It also can be controlled from the app. I went with this model because I do not need the app and I was concerned that the newer technology may take a few models to get all the kinks worked out. I have used mine daily since May and am still very pleased in my 1800 sq ft all hardwood floor home with two long haired dogs and two teetering toddlers.

Answer:	I just purchased some replacement filters here on Amazon. They came five to a pack. Brushes are also available but I haven't needed to buy any yet. A set of replacements come with the vacuum and I haven't touched the replacement brushes yet.
Question:	I saw where it stopped working for someone in 5 months. Does it have a year warranty
Answer:	I am pretty sure you can purchase one through amazon. I love mine! I live near the beach and so much sand gets dragged in no matter how careful we are.clean the little filter after each use. I have had mine since July 2016 and use it most every day!
Question:	How well does this work on carpet
Answer:	It works decently at picking up dust, hair and dirt from inside the carpet but it struggles at the bigger things and I find I have to come behind it pick up larger particles. However it does a good job of maintaining the general cleanliness of the carpet and for the price, I am more than satisfied. It always surprises me how much crap is vacuumed up by this machine when I'm cleaning it out.
Question:	Anybody have a roomba or more expensive model to compare its power to
Answer:	My son has a Roomba and it will cross between hard flooring and carpet. It also cleans very well and is not very loud. On the other hand my Rollitech BL616 will not crossover from hard flooring to carpet, even though the description stated it would do low pile carpet. The step up from the hard flooring to the carpet is less than a half inch. I would suggest you spend a little more and buy the Roomba.
