Answer:	That is what I purchased it form - to pick up kitty litter from my bathroomn floor. The handheld component works good but wanted it for the broom component. Even with it fully charged, it only picks up about 50% of the litter. I am very disappointed as it is not the quality of Dirt Devil product.

Answer:	Yes it has a powered beater bar. But it does trap a lot, and I mean a lot of hair. I find that I have to pull hairs out from being tangled around the brush bar after every use. I'm guessing the bristles are too long and not dense enough to allow the hairs to pass into the vacuum and instead winds around the bar.
Question:	Will the handle lay flat to the floor to vacuum under a bed in a carpeted room? How much clearance is needed
Answer:	The handle lays flat to the floor. I measured and you would need 6 inches of clearance. This is so the body of the vacuum can have clearance and not the handle. I have been very pleased with mine. It is easy to maneuver and is light weight enough that it does not cause me to be in pain later after using it. I have not been able to use a heavier vacuum because of the pain I would suffer later. With Fibromyalgia I have to be careful of what I do or use. Keep in mind that this is a light weight vacuum and the motor is not as strong as a regular vacuum. This is great for quick clean ups. It can be used for heavier cleaning, but it will take several passes with this vacuum to get the area as clean as a larger vacuum would do. I hope this answers your question. It will lay flat enough to vacuum under your bed.

Answer:	Love it for my floors. That is the whole reason I got it, as my big old Dyson is too cumbersome for getting out quickly for small jobs. I like how it is small and cordless.

Answer:	I have never used the Hoover. Until now I’ve used a 1953 Electrolux that remains the best vacuum ever. But I’m severely disabled and maneuvering the old Lux grew to be too much. This vacuum now serves as my only one and is almost as good as the Electrolux. It requires an occasional poke up the plastic tube leading to the dust collector when a large piece gets stuck in there, but otherwise it cleans my home beautifully. (And chases off my four shedding cats as much as the Lux did.)

Answer:	We have a Pomeranian and her hair doesn't clog this vacuum, but we keep her hair shorter. The longest it gets is 4 inches. I do love it, it picks up so much that I didn't even know was on the floor!!

Answer:	It has a roller on and off setting. I just bought my second one. I find this to be an amazing little machine in picking up dog hair on tile or carpet and it is so light I bought another one because the battery only serves about 1/2 of my 2 bedroom house. (It is made for quick pickups and not intended for full house cleaning) I got rid of my other vacuums except for the Shark Navigator for the hose ability. Even that is too heavy for me to use for the whole house.

Question:	is the brush supposed to rotate no mater what is being vacuumed? the brush in my unit does not rotate continuously
Answer:	Mine rotates continuously. It took me a while to figure out, however, that it's actually fairly difficult to insert the brush assembly into the motor/hose assembly. Unless that's fully seated, you could be having only intermittent contact between the pins in the hose and the sockets in the brush. In that case, perhaps pushing on the handle of the vacuum is sufficient to get contact momentarily until the rotating brush pulls the brush forward and loosens the connection. Trying pushing a bit more firmly when attaching the brush to see if that fixes the problem.

Answer:	I haven't had this very long, but I've used it extensively. As far as I know, it won't need replacement filters. It is bagless too.

Answer:	When looking down on top of the filter, you will see 2 tabs that stick outward. These 2 tabs face forward on the container surrounding the release button on the front of the container. When these tabs are lined up, the filter slides in easily.

Answer:	I use this vacuum 2-times a week and the battery lasts 30 minutes no problem. I'm had the product for 14 months so far and purchase a second one.
Question:	Is there a way to turn off the brushroll while vacuuming
Answer:	No but you could easily remove the brushroll. It pops out with a button for easy cleaning. Mine ran without the brushroll.
Question:	Do brush rollers turn off for hard floors
Answer:	I only have hardwood floors, and have found this to be a great vacuum, even though I usually hate when the brush rollers are on on others. Looks at this as a powerful broom, not as a replacement upright.
Question:	Does this unit have removable batteries
Answer:	Don't think so - it plugs into an outlet to get recharged, and a charge lasts for about two whole house cleanings, depending on whether you are using low or high power. It does NOT come with a docking unit, which for me, was a plus. Takes about an hour to charge.

Answer:	A simple power inverter will convert DC into AC. They are relatively inexpensive, and you might already have one. There is also a cordless version that would work, but I’ve never used the cordless model, so cannot attest to its power nor longevity.
Question:	Is this a good vacuum cleaner for the car
Answer:	Yes...it is a small size, and will, I believe, fit under and around most seats. Be aware that it is not cordless, and will need a nearby power source. The cord, however, is quite long.
Question:	What's the relationship between power amp vs volts vs watts??, I'd like to know the power of the vacuum, and do some comparisons among them, because for me the power is one of the most important features, but some models give you amps, others volts, others watts! so if anybody can give a straight answer I'd appreciate
Answer:	Watts = Amps x VoltsAll residential Vacs run on 120 Volts.Power used (watts) does not translate into the vacuuming power necessarily. I rely more upon practical considerations. The way the motor was constructed, the ducting, filtering of dust and dirt, all impact efficiency. One way to evaluate the power of a hand vac is the torque you feel in the hand that holds it when you first turn it on. The Scorpion's torque is massive for a hand vac. No battery driven vac can equal it.
Question:	Will this vacuum be good for picking up dry cat litter? I just want to use it for a little litter that gets scattered
Answer:	Yes. My cat's name is Elvira and she will testify under oath that this screaming, possibly cat-eating machine is effective in both picking up dry kitty litter and for chasing her to hide under the bed.
