| Answer: | The handle lays flat to the floor. I measured and you would need 6 inches of clearance. This is so the body of the vacuum can have clearance and not the handle. I have been very pleased with mine. It is easy to maneuver and is light weight enough that it does not cause me to be in pain later after using it. I have not been able to use a heavier vacuum because of the pain I would suffer later. With Fibromyalgia I have to be careful of what I do or use. Keep in mind that this is a light weight vacuum and the motor is not as strong as a regular vacuum. This is great for quick clean ups. It can be used for heavier cleaning, but it will take several passes with this vacuum to get the area as clean as a larger vacuum would do. I hope this answers your question. It will lay flat enough to vacuum under your bed. |
