Answer:	I would definitely buy it for hard floors and tile, it works great for daily pick up of hair and general dust. it's lightweight and easy to use but most important you won't have to pick up the sweepings from a broom.

Answer:	I didn't have any cheerios but did have wheat chex. I gave the test and it ate it right up!! So yes..it will suck up cheerio-sized pieces. I vacuum up a lot of beauty bark that our dog tracks in.

Answer:	I use the Breeze system of kitty litter and it works fine. These pellets are larger than regular little so I'm sure it will work.

Answer:	Yes, I have 2 chihuahuas and their bedroom is carpeted and this one does a good job, I owned it since 2014 and just twice I had to take it apart and cleaned very carefully between the handle and the base but that’s it, I have a roomba and a bigger heavy duty vacuum and the sharp is my first choice unless I forgot to put it back in the charge.

Answer:	I don’t know the other model, but mine doesn’t pick up much more than pet hair and dust. I only recommend it for pet hair removal.
Question:	Since it doesn't come with a crevice tool to clean difficult to reach corners, how does it perform in corners and wall/floor areas
Answer:	Not efficiently. It will swivel around corners and picks up by the suction on each corner of the vacuum head but takes some effort on my part. I don’t recommend it for general cleaning. Works well on pet hair and small, fine particles

Answer:	According to the directions no, Two of my floors are not sealed though and I still use it, I try not to use as much water and I move a lot faster to get the little I use up fast but I haven't see any problems

There is nothing worse than pulling up water that is not clean after you have used the machine at least twice. It is discouraging and disgusting. That is why I LOVE this one, it cleans using very little of the 2x solution (a small bottle is included) and then removes the water leaving you with a clean, dry floor without streaks. It is lightweight and I am nor writhing in pain when I finish.
Question:	How it cleaning corners and along baseboards? Does the unit go all the way to the baseboards
Answer:	To answer your question specifically, no, the machine cannot go flush up against the baseboard and into corners because the cleaning brushes are recessed a small distance from the front edge of the machine. There is also a small area on either side of a threshold when moving from one room to another which the machine doesn't clean very well. This happens with a change from one flooring material to another (i.e., vinyl to tile, vinyl to wood, wood to marble). But, overall, these baseboard, corner and threshold areas are small enough that I can use a soft cleaning tool such as a mop or sponge, to my satisfaction. I hope this helps.Judy

Question:	Two questions. 1. Does the cleaning solution have an odor (I have allergies)? 2. Can this be used to freshen an oriental area rug
Answer:	If you have allergies and an Oriental rug, I would get rid of the rug!! If it is an authentic hand knotted rug- then it's wool!! If you have allergies you MAY be allergic to the wool itself. ALso, I would have it professinally cleaned- not because YOU can;'t clean it, but wool rugs are incredibly heavy when wet and terribly difficult to properly dry completely. Unless you have a big backyard and live in the arid southwest, I would not attempt cleaning. I have a large wool rug from Afghanistan I tried cleaning myself (you have to use natural SOAPS AND NO ARTIFICIAL DETERGENTS!!) on wool- it weighed a ton when wet and took FOREVER to dry on a very hot wall in 114F degree summer heat. The wool just smells when it's wet, like a wet dog (wet sheep actually ;) so, next time it will be done by a pro who has the equipment, tools and dryer for them.
Question:	What's the difference between the 1785a model and 1785w model
Answer:	I just read that the difference between the two: the 1785W is 3000 RPM's and the 1785A is 3500 RPM's.
Question:	Can you use your own solution
Answer:	I have a 20 yr old carpet cleaning Bissel and I use my own solution. Of course the manufacturer will only endorse their own cleaning products. They can't guarantee the results if you use something else. I use 3% hydrogen peroxide with hot water. Use a 1 to 5.5 ratio. (1 peroxide to 5.5 parts water) It cleans, disinfects, and is great for pet stains. Won't hurt your machine using this formula. Hint: Try a 1 to 1 ratio in a spray bottle for cleaning your shower, bathtub and tiles. It kills mildew on contact, nixes the scum on glass and brightens your tub.
Question:	Can this be used for dry vacuuming? And how does this clean grout between tile lines
Answer:	I have tried this for dry vac and tile grout. First off, it is really meant to suck up water. Yes, it will do large items on the floor but not fine dust and dirt from every day. It will suck it up with the water though. As for grout, if you have deep crevice grout, as in the grout is not flush with the top of the tile, you will still need to scrub the grout. I have both and then I also have uneven stone that has pores and crevices in the tile itself and it also doesn't do well on those but it does better than a regular mop EVER did.

Answer:	no, YOU pick up the paper clips..vacuums are not made for picking up paper clips..
Question:	How do you clean the filter
Answer:	There is a HEPA filter in front of the vacuum, you lift the door from the bottom and you can take it out and wash it. and then you lift the canister out from the base ( like you're emptying the canister of dirt.) You will find 2 foam filters there. lift them both out and wash those too. Just dont throw in washing machine or dishwasher. I use dish detergent and wash them off in the sink. Just make sure they are completely dry before putting them back on the vacuum. After a dozen or so washings they will break down ( you will know this ) extra filters can be purchased on EBay or Amazon or other websites. I usually clean the foam filters when they are a very dark brown or gray color,then i also wash the HEPA filter also. Good luck! Question:	What is the difference between Shark NV 352 and the NV
Answer:	The 352 has a 25 foot cord, the 356 (professional) is 30', the hard floor tools are different. The 356 has a microfiber 'dust pad' that goes over the hardwood floor attachment. The 352's hard floor attachment has a 'V' shape to funnel debris no pad, but it does have a duster attachment both available to purchase separately. The dust cup on the 356 is larger and the overall machine is 2 lbs heavier then the 352. 356 also comes with a bag for the tools where my 352 did not. The other tools all appear to be the same on both models. They both run the same amps and can be converted into canister mode as well, but are aesthetically different.
Question:	Why is the little rectangle on the side sucking in so much air and causing it not to work
Answer:	I can answer that question specifically because it happened to me and caused me to give this vacuum an erroneously poor review. My shark lasted for just under four years and was amazing. THEN it started sucking air like crazy though that rectangle and suction dropped by 80%. I did everything to fix it ... cleaned all the filters, checked all the hoses ... nothing fixed it. I was about to put it to the curb for the garbage man when something told me to check it out one last time. Well to make a long story short ... if you open your dust canister, there is a conical thing in the middle with mesh screen sides. That mesh was clogged with dust/dirt. On a hunch I cleaned it with a toothbrush (extremely difficult and awkward job) and guess what? The suction is back 100% and my Shark is back like when it brand was new. NOTE WELL. NOWHERE in the manual does it suggest that this area should be cleaned. I hope this answer is not too late for you.

Answer:	Yes you use wax after polish with m205 and yes will orbital polisher work well with the m205.

Answer:	No, I just use Meguiar'd Ultimate Waterless Wash & Wax, then this finishing polish. Car looks like it was professionally detailed with these products.
Question:	Anyone has had this vacuum for long time? Does it last
Answer:	First, you don't say whether you're using a machine or applying by hand. Machine might not require as aggressive product. Second, it all depends on the surface condition. Always try the least aggressive, i.e. Ultimate Polish/M205 first. If that doesn't remove swirls, etching, etc., drop down to Ultimate Compound/M105. Then, refine surface with UP/M205 and follow with a pure wax such as Meguiar's Ultimate or my favorite, their NXT 2.0. Meguiar's Ultimate Compound is the consumer version of M105 Ultra-Cut Compound. Their Ultimate Polish is the same to M205 Ultra Finishing Polish. Both M105 and M205 are slightly more aggressive that their consumer counterparts. It's also my understanding that Ultimate Polish has more polishing "oils" than M205. They all use Meguiar's Super Micro Abrasive Technology (SMAT). Simply put, they shouldn't induce scratches/marring if properly applied. Also, if you're investing this much labor, you should remove the bonded contaminants that seem to be present on most brand new cars with a Clay Bar Kit. You'll be blown away at how smooth and clean the surface gets. It's safe, fast and is the foundation for a properly detailed surface.
