Where's the HEPA filter? How to maintain the cleaning performances?

It's right under the exhaust grill just above the floor nozzle.

We suggest you regularly wash the HEPA filter and replace every year. Make sure to clean the dust cup filters regularly.

How to maintain the brushroll?

If the brushroll light turns red, this indicates the brushroll is clogged and cannot spin. Brushroll will automatically shut off. You can remove the brushroll by turning off the vacuum, flipping over the floor nozzle and using a coin to turn the locks to open the bottom panel and lift out the brush roll.

Answer:	This is THE best for dog hair. I have 2 Mastiffs and a bulldog. Total poundage of shedding dogs in the house is over 440 lbs (not a typo) and believe you me, these guys can shed some hair!! Plus, I live in the country with dirt roads, so dust, grit and dog hair is a daily occurrence. I also have parrots, so vacuum cleaners come to my house to die. This light weight little guy will pick up feathers, seed hulls, bird pellets with ease. On dog hair, it pulls up the dog hair tumbleweeds inches away. It's light enough not to bother my arthritic hands, and its EASY to clean! I suggest getting a second filter so one can be ready to go in a flash. Question:	Anyone pull beyond the yellow cord indicator and if so, will it ever retract properly again? Sounds like you have to constantly watch the cord
Answer:	Not sure. I have a shark stem mop. These are listed to work with it, but they did not work very well. I ended up ordering something else. Sorry I can’t be of more help
