Question:	How do you know if your DC35 is a type "B" or not
Answer:	Do you have to push a button or use a screwdriver to loosen the battery? Type "B" has a tab with a hole on the very top (opposite of contacts). Type A? aka normal battery is the one in the picture. It has no screw tab but a groove instead (for the push button mechanism). Sry Late to the party, but hopefully will help if someone else has the same question.
Question:	how do you know if you have a DC35 (type B)? I can't even locate a Type B online? Mine just says DC 35 Multifloor on the vacuum... What is a "type B
Answer:	Make sure to match all the battery specs. The DC35 should have a 2.0 Amp battery or 2000Mah. This Powerextra is only 1500Mah. Mine worked for six months before the turning off problem returned. Look for the 2.0 Amp battery.
Question:	It sais in the warranty booklet " Do not over charge ". How do I know when 100% charge is reached
Answer:	There are four blue lights. They blink when charging. If the battery is dead and then is charged, four lights will blink. If the battery is half charged and then plugged in, two lights will blink and so forth. When the battery is at 100%, all four lights will be on and not blinking.

Answer:	I can't answer that question since it could be anything from you don't have it seated properly to some other issue with your cleaner. Trouble-shooting is an art and you may be better off with a web search that includes both the issue and your vacuum model and keep refining it from there. I have no problem at all with mine, but I am careful about keeping it cleaned out and using it within the manufacturer's limits..

Question:	I installed this new replacement battery, plugged in the original charger and the indication lights on the battery blinked red. What's the reason
Answer:	I used this battery as a replacement on my V6 but had no problems, it worked perfectly the first time and after it was properly charged. I can only guess that the battery is incompatible with your vacuum for some reason, but I also don't know what model yours is being installed on. I'd re-check the voltage listed on the battery and compare it with the voltage on your old battery......mine was 21.6 V on both. ......and maybe you just have a bad battery.

Answer:	I am not sure what you are asking. It is a battery so when fully charged it has a green light on it to indicate a full charge. If the light is red it means the battery needs to be charged before using.

Answer:	I don’t think so. DC59 accessories are compatable with V6 models. V7 models share accessories with V8 models. You should search V8 assessories.

Answer:	Just to clarify - the Dyson V7 Trigger has a charging "cord" included in the box. The Wall Mount (which holds the charging cord) does not come with it. Not only that, but the rumor was that there is no wall mount available. Huh? One of their most convenient accessories is not available? For a Hand-Held device? Nonsense! So, I contacted Dyson directly. While they initially said there is no wall mount for their Dyson V7 Trigger, I convinced them to check further than their literature. I even gave them part # #967741-01 that Ben had helpfully furnished (see his answer on 12/15/17). They looked into it and after double checking with their "people", they agreed it was compatible and shipped it right out to me. I received the wall mount yesterday, slipped the cord into it and . . . it fit perfectly! I have several Dyson products and couldn't believe that Dyson would not have such a convenient accessory available. That's why I pressed the issue. I'm glad I did and I'm happy to pass along the good news to those of you who are considering purchasing the V7 Trigger. Please note: I purchased the Dyson V7 Trigger directly from Dyson because after working with me to finally determine that there was a compatible wall mount available, they offered me a discount on the vaccuum.

Question:	Where is the filter? i hope i do not have to buy this for a new machine just received
Answer:	When you tap the button to empty the vacuum you will see an area with an indentation that tells you to "slide to access filter". You slide it forward and lift it out. At the opposite end of the mesh screen, you will see an orange ring (the filter) with a wire handle. It pulls right out. The filter is paper so we vacuum it off with another hand held vacuum. You could probably wipe it down or gently brush it with a soft brush. Would not get it wet! Your vacuum comes with the filter. Do not know if it would be available from Shark separately or not so would use caution when cleaning.

How to change the replacement battery?

step one: remove the 2 Phillips screws. One is hidden and can be accessed after the canister is detached. The other is on the back of the handle.

step two: put the new one into the vacuum and then install the 2 Phillips screws.
