Answer:	I bought my Gen 3 vacuum back in the mid 90"s. I've had the transmission rebuilt once and other than routine cleaning, replacing the beater-bar, replacing the beater-bar belt and bags this has been one of the longest-lasting, best appliances I've ever owned. Not only that but it out performs every other vacuum I've ever bought. If there is a "model #" associated with the bag I wouldn't know of one. I buy in bulk when I can so the last time I bought bags was in 2017 when I purchased 5 packs of Gen 3 bags thru Amazon from a company called B & M. The advertising thru Amazon was called Kirby Generation 3 Vacuum 197289 and like I said I bought 5 packs of 3 or 15 bags for just under $22. I hope this helps! Brian
