Answer:	Yes you can use all ports at once but the combined total bandwidth of all ports is limited to that offered by a single USB 3.0 port (5 Gbps).Correction: apparently it's USB 3.0 speed (5 Gbps), not 3.1 (10 Gbps).

Answer:	10Gbps on 3.1 is a theoretical speed if all of the circumstances are perfect. The bandwidth is there but...you are limited by the read/write speed of the drive. I'm currently using an SSD in a 3.1 enlcosure and getting between 200 Mbps and the max 450 Mbps. It's definitely fast but I don't think anyone will get that kind of speed. Hope this helps.
