Answer:	No, it absolutely does NOT come with the black foam gasket that is needed for a proper install. The gasket is PART of the original filter. It is ATTACHED to the old filter. It was not How a company can represent this as a kit is blatant misrepresentation. The purple HEPA filter REQUIRES this gasket or it will not seal, resulting in bypassing the filter. I am very disappointed in Crucial. How much money do they save omitting this gasket? Answer: They do not save, because they lose customers. Got to me one time.
