Answer:	I used it on my granite counters and marble. It's just water. After running the steam across it I wiped any residue water away. It worked beautifully.

Answer:	No - just add water - I recommend distilled or filtered water to prevent mineral buildup inside the tank. You can also add a cleaner occasionally to remove this buildup. The steam generated is very good for windows and mirrors.

Answer:	For spot treatment on the carpet it's simple but if you're looking to do more large areas I would do a steam cleaner because this one is a little  small used for the car laundry room areas little spaces

Answer:	"Clean" is a broad concept. If you mean will steam deodorize or kill bed bugs, then yes. Removing stains will require other chemistry that either oxidizes or adds detergent action to achieve "clean."

Answer:	I have not used it on fabric of any kind, but others have said they have steamed shirts, so I imagine it would work, but I'm not 100% how well it works. Sorry, not very helpful. =

Answer:	Sure they can! I used to use my old Shark Steam Cleaner to clean my oven when it needed it and to me it worked better than chemical cleaners did! On heavy stuck on grills you probably will need multiple shots but it should work!

It's thin and lightweight and has a fully articulating head which I think would be better for reaching overhead. This model produces a dryer steam at a higher pressure than most models which seems preferable on ceilings, since they're often painted with a very flat finish ceiling paint which offers no protection from moisture to the drywall.

Answer:	Although you might use PineSol, you don't (probably) want to use Dawn... You would have suds for quite a while. These machines work by heating under pressure, so while "normal" water would boil at 212F, in a pressurized boiler, the water in this unit is heated to over 300 degrees. Then it is propelled out where the molecules expand until the temp. drops to the boiling point in the air (212F) where it evaporates or condenses (becoming steam or water). As the temperature decreases to the boiling point, those bubbles are going to increase exponentially. I've never tried this personally, as I wouldn't risk destroying my machine or my floors, but the science says you'd not only have bubbles from the tank of water you intended to make soapy but probably for several tanks after that as ridding the unit of all the Dawn would take more water than a single tank. Several sites, like Autopia.com, discuss the best use of steam cleaners generally and this machine specifically (most of these sites are moderated by people who own detailing shops or other commercial applications). The consensus is that they do NOT recommend using ANY detergent that is run through the machine even though the manufacturers say you can. I'm sure you do need to be careful about what you put in the boiler as the heating element in this unit is really not replaceable without removing the entire boiler unit. While the boiler is covered under warranty, I don't know if that also covers the heating element.

Question:	Do i need replacement pads
Answer:	It comes with 2 microfiber pads for steam mopping that are washable. If you feel you need more than that, I would order additional pads.

Answer:	The brushes it comes with are pretty good. When you clean them all off the bristles come back to sturdy form. I don't understand why anyone has an issue. If the brushes fail you contact pure enrichment on their site and they send free replacements . There's a 4 years warranty I believe. I'd have to double check i know if I registered it right away they gave me extra years on the warranty. Anyway I just show them a pic of whatever the problem is and they send free parts. I haven't needed to replace the brushes yet and I abuse this thing.
Question:	Is there a continuous steam button or do you have to hold down a trigger for the steam to work

Answer:	It has done a good job of softening the wallpaper, so it can be easily scraped off of the wall. It is still a messy, laborious process, but the steamer does help, and works quickly.

Answer:	Hi,Believe it or not, I have done it. Doesn't mention anything about clothes but it's steam and I have done it many times. This is a great price they have it for now. It has dropped 15.00 since last week.
Question:	How long does it take to heat up enough to use
Answer:	It takes about 10-15mins to heat up. You can use it thereafter up until you run out of water. It is highly recommended to use distilled water. Personally, I find the distilled water does not come to highest heat, therefore steam is not optimum. I seem to get a lot more water spitting out than steam using distilled water. Although distilled supposedly extends the life of the eating element and/or reservoir.

If there IS suction at the back of the machine with the hose removed, follow these steps: Unplug the unit from the outlet. Check the Pre- and Post-Motor filters for debris. Dirty filters can restrict airflow. The Pre-Motor Foam Filter is square. You can find it in a pull-out tray under the Dirt Tank. The Foam Filter may be hand washed in cold water with mild detergent. Reinstall the filter when it’s completely dry. The Multi-Layer Post-Motor Filter is rectangular. It can be found on the side of the machine. Note: The white Multi-Layer Post Motor Filter isn’t washable. Make sure the dirt tank is empty. Check the upper tank for build-up or clogs. Answer:	The brush head detaches from the hose. I clean it by running extremely hot water through it. You could even soak it in a warm water bath if needed. If there is a hair stuck inside the plastic portion, you can use an unbent page clip to dig it out.

Answer:	I have a spot-bot as well as a Bissell upright (about to buy this little green one) - and I use a zip tie - the kind you can use for bundling wires - very long and flexible - as long as the fuzz inside the suction head is still wet, a zip tie works really well for me!!

Answer:	Sorry to tell you this - I've had my first machine for yr and it worked fine until it would no longer spray- since it was old I thought some part must have worn out - and since it had given me many yrs of great service - I just went out and bought another one - I have had this new one for just about a yr and now the same problem is happening to this one - I've given up and use a spray bottle to apply solution and the machine to pick up the residue - I'll have to be in touch with the company - but this does seem like it could be a chronic problem.

I came to hate my Brava but love this steamer so I use the ones that came with the Brava. At least it had nice cleaner pads going for it.
