Answer:	I usually poke about 2 in the middle and then work my way out with 5-7 more holes in the shape of a circle. Make sure they aren't too big!! As for water, I fill it about an inch or 2, too little water doesn't get the flavor and too much water gets into the hoses

Answer:	It comes with one to rinse mop in bucket water and other to speed dry.
