Answer:	I'd like to parrot what Jennifer said. I have had two Bissell spot cleaners (Little Green Heat and SpotClean Pro). The brush attachment broke on one, and the hose split on the other in the first 14 months of ownership. Bissell has a 1-year warranty. I called them to see if they could make an exception for me, considering I was only 2 months past the 1-year. They said "nope" (the cost for replacing the entire hose mechanism is nearly as much as buying a whole new machine ... and you can't replace it yourself. Bissell says you have to go to one of their authorized repair centers). I'm very dissatisfied with Bissell's build quality. I'm frankly tired of buying machines that fail so soon. They are not meant to last. That being said, the suction on the Bissell SpotClean Pro is good. But the Rug Doctor is better. I vote for Rug Doctor.

Answer:	You could, but it would be quite a chore. This is a spot cleaner not intended for cleaning the carpet in an entire room. For that large of an area you would want an upright rug cleaner. Even a light duty upright would be better for such an area than this Hoover Spotless.

Answer:	Overall like the spot bot better, have both, use bot more often, just easier.
Question:	How does this do on pet stains
Answer:	It works great. I fill a sprayer with boiling hot water, use a carpet detergent to loosen the stain, and the spot scrubber to lift it from the item so stained. The sprayer is used just ahead of the spot scrubber vacuum tool and all of the gunk goes into the easily dumpable tank. I put distilled water in the wash tank and finish with that so no dissolved mineral residue remains (which sometimes makes a ring when the cleaned item drys). Works great and easy to clean (use a little of the boiling water followed with a distilled water flush).

Answer:	I'm confused about this because all the information I've been able to find says that fish is the only source of DMAE and that there are no vegan sources. However I also found a skin care product that contains DMAE and claims to be vegan. So, maybe there are other sources or perhaps it can be synthetically manufactured. I hope so because I'd really like to try it. I wish they'd tell us their source.
Question:	What's the return window? I want to order this as a Christmas gift so I need to be sure it's still returnable in a little more than a month
Answer:	Because one of its five ingredients is on the pPop 65 list. Prop 65 is problematic, and of all the products with Prop 65 warnings, that people manage to sell on websites like amazon, and are intended to be ingested, most of them are probably safe. But I haven't researched this particular one much, and it's not on the list for literally no reason at all (but potentially not a good reason), so I can't say whether it's safe. I can say there are only five ingredients to research, and I don't think DMAE is on the Prop 65 list. But at least one of the ingredients is, so if you're worried, find out which one it is and do a little research. I'll post back if/when I do. And yeah, this question is a bit old, but someone is still going to be curious, if not the original asker.

Answer:	This is actually a good question. For clarification the OP is referring to Source Naturals DMAE. Their label lists 351mg of DMAE bitartrate which contains 130mg of pure DMAE. So the question is does NOW contain 250mg of DMAE bitartrate or 250mg of pure DMAE?

Question:	What is the difference between this and the SteamVac also by Hoover
Answer:	I have been comparing them to decide which one I want, this one (hoover Power Scrub) has automatic mixing of the detergent solution and the water, so you can choose a water only (rinse) or water with cleaning solution. The SteamVac, you must mix the solution in the water tank, so in order to rinse you would have to completely empty out the clean tank and then add just water. The power scrub only turns off the scrub brushes when the handle is in the upright and locked position. The scrub brushes on the SteamVac can be adjusted for gentle, normal, and off. They both use heated air on the dry (suction) strokes to help with drying. It looks like the SteamVac might be a little cheaper but then it doesn't come with all the attachments the power Scrub does. In fact it is a little vague on which attachments come with it. I checked the owners manual for both of these for this information. The Power Scrub is about 2 pounds lighter than the SteamVac. The assembly of the SteamVac seems a lot more involved. I think I am about sold on the Hoover Power Scrb Deluxe carpet cleaner.
Question:	can the brushes be shut off
Answer:	There is a rubber flap on the back of the dirty water tank. If you open that, it breaks the airflow that drives the brushes. It won't pick up liquid while the flap is open though, so I spray and scrub with it open, then seal the flap to extract liquid. I'm not sure if that is the purpose of the flap, but it works.
Question:	Do i have to rinse after i shampoo? seems like an annoying extra step. never had a carpet cleaner that did that
Answer:	If you think of shampooing your carpet like shampooing your hair, it makes sense to rinse. Long ago (LONG ago) when I shampoo'd carpets as part of my job, we were taught to think of it as hair: (a) Lay down a bit of water first; (b) apply shampoo; (c) rinse it out. If the carpeted area was heavy traffic, do just like the shampoo bottle says -- apply a second bit of shampoo, work it in, and then rinse it out. Over the years I've ALWAYS done that when cleaning my own 2500 sq feet of WHITE carpet in my house, and it always comes out fluffy, soft, and white. Even with several black dogs.
Question:	Would you recommend for pet owners? I have 4 pets and wonder if the pieces are easy enough to take apart to remove hair that will surely accumulate
Answer:	This was my first scrubber for carpets. I broke my ankle soon after I got it, so I only got to use it 3 times. I thought it did a good job on open areas. I did not like how it did close to the edges of the carpet where it meets the wall. I used it on steps and it did fine. One thing I remember is hold the dirty water container tightly when you go to empty it or the dirty water can spill out all over your work that you've done. Once you have figured out how to assemble and take apart, it is fairly easy then. I liked the fact that it gets the water up fairly well. For the money, I am happy with it, I have two cats. Must mention it takes some strength to work on steps and edges, as I used a large toothbrush. But the latter doesn't have anything to do with the animals, I was just giving you my opin of the machine.

Question:	What is the difference between the BG10 and the 10N
Answer:	My machine I just received that was ordered on Dec 5, 2019--it has been a nightmare and that's an understatement!!! to register---I tried to register it using the registration card that was included which gave you 3 options on how to register--I chose on-line. Well little did I know there is a commercial division (which is listed inside the manual)--I was only going by what was on the warranty card I haven't used the machine yet so I did not look at the manual MY MACHINE (yes, the physical machine itself has a label on it (on the base of handle near on/off switch) with the model # 10N2 1925700294FXB (serial#) When I entered this for the warranty it would not accept of course I was registering it at the WRONG DIVISION unknowingly--I then called and a woman listened to my dilemma and advised that I should use the MODEL# BG10 plus the same serial #-----she said she would register it for me if it wouldn't work--that number entered also did not work. I wanted written confirmation that it was registered not just word of mouth, so then I called the commercial division again and yes you probably guessed it!!!----NO Those previously given model numbers are incorrect!! The right one is 86T3 plus same serial# As you see it's the model# that is the problem----Also I was told that this machine should be called "Professional" not "Commercial" even thought Commercial is what is on the manual So I was sent a link by Bissell Customer Care to enter my numbers and tah, duh--------NONE OF THEM WORKED!!! so here I am in limbo again not knowing if mine is registered for an only 1-year warranty!!! Given the track record of some of these carpet machines, there's no way I'm going to NOT REGISTER them. Before this I had a Hoover All-Terrain Steam carpet cleaner (no longer available (I can see why) which when we first used it leaked water like a broken dam----we couldn't find out the problem we're trying this and that to no avail and finally my husband ripped it completely apart and found YES!!!, I broken chintzy piece of thin plastic that was sort of like an o- ring. A brand new cleaner that was useless and destructive with all the leaking water I'm beginning to think there are no real Brands anymore just cheap junk with a label slapped n with not the right numbers, manuals, web sites. That's it!!!!! People are really being taken and robbed by some of these companies with no recourse. Sad!!!! Don't need this at Christmas!!

Answer:	Yes the Bissell 2 Deep Clean is the recommended actually. The oxy version is good two. It says to use two tank cap fulls of that solution mixed remainder of hot water per tank refill. Expect to do something like a 15x12 area or less per tank refill

Answer:	NO,,,not designed for use on any hard flooring including tile. Best machine I have ever owned for cleaning carpets. Dry in a good hour as long as you don't over wet. Very strong suction and machine is not loud.

Answer:	I have no knowledge of a commercial grade Bissell big green cleaning machine. The Big Green Deep Cleaning Machine is a household unit as far as I know. The BG10 is a commercial unit used in most of the major hotels and motels nationwide.
