Question:	Could you set this up as 2 shorter shelfs side by side
Answer:	You would need to check your rack to see in the poles unscrew in the middle. I get the impression there were different versions of these racks. If they do you need a set of 4 caps, 4 threaded inserts and 4 casters or levelers. Check your pole size too, likely either 1” or 3/4” depending on the version.

Answer:	super simple assembly. take 2 peices of the black thingies. they should have a mark saying top or a dot or something. they are conical so you snap them together on the legs. start on the near bottom of a leg on a ring and slide the cap till it snaps in place. do all 4 on the same ring, 1 level at a time.so caps, snap, shelf. the 1st shelf is the trickiest but once the second shelf is in place it has better stability. if this is not helping, try youtube.
Question:	I'm very frustrated. the plastic shelf holders are not snapping and staying closed what am i doing wrong
Answer:	I've purchased several of these and just have one more thing to add from the other comments. First, from the other comments you can gather that the pieces do not snap together with each other - they snap to the vertical poles. That's an important point left out of the instructions. Second, where most are saying hold them together and slide them down the vertical pole until they snap, you can do that but they most likely will snap in the same location, giving you same size shelves. The shelves are adjustable, so if you want different heights for each shelf, find the groove on the pole that is closest to giving you the shelf size you want. Then you can, making sure the arrow of the 2 interlocking pieces point up, just lay both pieces close to the groove and then you can slide them up or down to find the closest place to that spot where they will snap. One more thing is you need to make sure you put the shelf over the 4 poles as level as you can. Even though the pieces snap onto the pole, they can be knocked off if the shelf hits them too hard on one side or the other if you try to place it on askew. Doesn't have to be perfectly level - I did it by myself - but somewhat hitting all 4 clips at the same time and coming down over them as close to the same time as you can. The lip of the shelf has to be down in order for the shelf to slide over top of the interlocking pieces on each pole - that's what holds them together. Will not work with the lip up. I am a 60ish female with no real mechanical abilities so the first one was the hardest because the instructions left out key points. Hope this helps (I have put together about 5 or 6 of them now in my garage).

Answer:	Make sure you read up on the anchors that except the bolts/screws. THAT is where you'll find a good answer. Mine is attached to a concrete block wall and I trust it. Also, I built a deck anchored to a brick wall and a pro saw it and said "That thing's not going anywhere."

Answer:	No way. The fluted side of the holes in the shelves must slide over the retaining clips to hold the shelf securely in place
Question:	How easy it to to take apart and put back together
Answer:	Depends on what you call 'easy'. The worst is getting the end cappies on and the pole bottoms, and that's not bad. Best when disassembling to put it on the side or back and whap the shelves 'up' going around the shelf, near the poles, to loosen them and get them to come off. Start from the formerly top shelf and work to the bottom, pull the poles out of the last shelf as they come loose. Assembling again lay one shelf on edge on long side, and thread all four poles through, setting the height where they should be, then lift the whole thing up and seat the bottom shelf, then work up. It will be sturdiest with the bottom shelf down about as far as it can go, and the top shelf about as high up as you can get it.

Question:	What is the distance between the bottom shelf and the top shelf
Answer:	All of the shelves are the same depth. I just measured and they are 5 1/2” including the mounting bar/bracket. Hope this helps. This has been a life saver for me. I have a small kitchen and this gave me lots of extra space. And, this 70 year old installed it herself!
Question:	is this 12" ir 18.8" wide as written in the description
Answer:	Yes, it comes with hardware to mount it to a wall.
Question:	Will these fit Costco spices? They are 7 13/16' tall
Answer:	I do not know. We have a hollow core door, and the screws definitely did not come through to the outside panel.
Question:	What is the depth and height of this product. I see it listed as 0.1 and 0.1 inches, but can't believe it
Answer:	My door is 1 3/4' deep and it works great. I love this rack. It's really organized my pantry. I used the hooks as I didn't want to drill holes into my door.

Answer:	It’s a two pack.
Question:	How tall are the brackets? Trying to figure out how much room I need below the shelf for them
Answer:	The bracket is 6 1/2 inches tall at the max point below the shelves.
Question:	Do these work for any spacing of studs
Answer:	I am sure the load rating would suffer if you had some strange 30” stud spacing but you can space the brackets as needed
Question:	Just to make sure does this contain two 24"x72" shelves
Answer:	You are basically getting 4x 24"x36" shelves. Grates come in 1'x3' sections. Two grates are used for every two brackets.

Question:	can you adjust the space of the horizontal arms(up and down)? Can you remove one or two arms as necessary
Answer:	No on the adjustment of the arms without drilling and repositioning the screw below each arm. Yes on removing any of the arms.
Question:	Why would washers be used for attaching the uprights
Answer:	This rack will hold significant weight. You need to use strong anchors to hold the uprights to the wall. The horizontals are well anchored to the Uprights and wrap around the uprights. This means there is a small gap between the uprights and the wall. The washer is used to space the uprights from the wall a bit.
Question:	what are the dimensions? Length of the uprights, space between shelves, length of the shelf from the back riser to front of beam. Thanks
Answer:	The vertical bars are 24.5". The horizontal bars are13.5", and the depth of the shelf is 12.5" (an 1" accounts for the width of vertical bar). There is approximately 7" between each shelf.
Question:	is it 110lb weight capacity per (2) bars, or 110lb per bar
Answer:	It’s 110 lbs per level for a total rack weight of 440 lbs. It is indicated as such in the item description written by the company. Really sturdy, awesome quality rack.

Question:	I purchased the shelf in 2018 and it was 72x36x14 but now the same link lists 60x30x14. Are you still offering the 72x36x14 shelf to purchase
Answer:	You have to do a search on amazon to check sizes
Question:	What is the diameter of the uprights
Answer:	1 inch
Question:	Can the unit be assembled shorter? Want to construct something with 2 or 3 kits
Answer:	I didn't try it and by now, I have it assembled, so not sure what the ends would look like. The long poles come in 2 parts that screw in together. You could choose to not attach them to each other, which will give you 2 parts. It includes stationary legs and wheels, so you could use the wheels for one and the stationary legs for the other. I'm not sure if the top of the bottom leg can have the screw removed so that it isn't sharp on the top, but you should be able to cut it (if not easily just removed) and figure out a cap with the packing caps that come for between the levels though they will need to be cut a bit. I just saw that the question is old, so maybe not a question for you any longer, but maybe for someone else.
Question:	Will this product accept castors? And are extra shelves available
Answer:	By castors, do you mean the small wheels? It does come with them. Also, I have a smaller unit and I was able to put the shelves in up side down on all of my unit's 3 shelves, thus giving each shelf about a 1-1.5" lip, which was just what I needed.
