Answer:	Yes, the only problem is that the screw holes are inside the compartment and so while you can put screws in the wall and hang it, you cannot secure the screws tightly. There is no space inside the compartment for a screwdriver to fit obviously. It wobbles a bit because of this. You will need a separate ultra low profile angle screwdriver to secure it tightly.

Answer:	You could certainly put one above another, but they need to be screwed to the wall to be stable. I don't think they would work well, just standing on the floor. They are too light for that. We did drill a new set of holes so we could place the third shelf between the factory-made shelf positions, and that worked well.
