Question:	Would this work well to keep in trunk and use to carry groceries and other purchases up three flights of stairs from parking area
Answer:	No you cannot. I had an incident where I followed the instructions for washing the liner in the washing machine. The inside is a type of plastic. Well, it was peeling off in several places. I called the company to see if I could get a replacement liner and inquired if replacements can also be purchased. They told me that they do not sell replacements and seemed surprised at what happened when I washed it. They kindly sent me a replacement liner for free. It is a very nice large x-frame hamper. I do recommend, but I would hand wash and air dry only.
Question:	What are the measurements
Answer:	Don’t remember the exact measurements when it arrived, but it’s folded (flat). You can wrap it for a gift. It’s not bulky or too large not to be able to.
Question:	I see that the hamper comes with two drawstring mesh bags. My question is, do they stay open/fold over the hamper well when you're filling it up throughout the week? If I haphazardly toss in my dirty clothes, are the mesh bags going to stay put or crumple in on themselves? Thanks
Answer:	I believe it is a blend with sturdy cardboard. It might not be tough enough for toddlers! It’s attractive and I can think of many uses especially storage.

Answer:	We use this to transport clean items to our cottage and return home with soiled garments. If you're speaking of normal day to day soil or dirt then there are no concerns of transfer or contamination to clean items.If you're speaking of heavily soiled items, especially anything greasy or oily, I would imagine that it's possible that this could rub against clean clothes and mark them. If that's what you're speaking of, those types of articles should be transported in a plastic bag.For normal clothes and items, this works well, especially because the design allows for air flow to deter mildew if dealt with timely.

Answer:	Very sturdy and holds up well . Its a foldable pop up basket .

Answer:	11 by 11 inches square at top; 23.5 inches tall. As you can see in picture - the corners have slight upward curve of bottom material.
Question:	is it easy to close when empty
Answer:	That's less straight-forward a question that it may seem, since it depends on how small you want to make them. The hampers will fold into a flat rectangle for easy storage (takes 1-2 seconds and no physical effort at all), or you can twist them into a small circle. It isn't HARD to twist the hamper closed, but it does take practice. I used to be able to do it with out even thinking about it (with the hampers like this that I bought for camping years ago), but I don't remember how anymore. Flat rectangle: so easy your dog could probably do it.
