Answer:	Finally figured this out. Forget about that raise connector part. Hold onto the long part of the handle itself, not on the grip because that will move. With other hand, hold the short blue handle on the scrubber. Whichever end you are holding up, turn counterclockwise while holding other part still. No instructions on their website either.

Answer:	I would guess that it would hold from eight to ten bath towels. This is a very nice hamper, the bag pulls out so you don't have to lug the everything to the washer.

Answer:	It is not velcroed. There are two skinny metal rods that slip through each side of the bag and then sits in a slot. You can easily just pick up the whole thing and carry it to the wash. The rods can stay in or be taken out. It might be a pain to take out the rods and have to put them back in each time, but it is possible.

Answer:	It just sits on top. If you place anything heavy on the lid it will bend a little and fall in. And the bottom piece falls out if you put heavy stuff in and lift. Great for storage of blankets, not great if you need to move alot or plan to use as a night stand
