Answer:	I don't have this particular system but a similar one. Here's what I did to make it slide out "automatically" and it works like a dream, while still fully maximizing cabinet space. - I bought something similar to "ClosetMaid 8002 2-Tier Wall Rack, 12-Inch Wide", which is a wire shelf that hangs on the inside of the cabinet door. I used 3M adhesive hooks to hang it so no screws required. I store spray bottles, cleaners, etc on it.- I then took a piece of string and tied one end to the bottom of the door shelf and the other end to the front of the garbage pull-out tray. It only takes a very short piece of string so is very discreet. - Voila! Now every time I open the cabinet door, the garbage can automatically pulls out. And automatically pushes back in when I close the door. Works perfectly and was super cheap and simple to do. Plus I have extra space for my cleaning supplies.

Answer:	Are you asking about the size before or after you open, not sure about the measurements but I would say closed it is about 9inches x 9 inches and open it will hold about a weeks worth of dirty clothes, I bought 2 ,1 for me and 1 for my husband and it works out great !
