| Answer: | The pre-drilled holes are 16 inches on center, standard stud spacing. You can also drill an extra hole on your own as necessary. Keep in mind that the studs may not be where you want them for ideal placement of the rack. I drilled and countersunk an additional hole in the middle of the rack, and anchored the rack into a stud. For the end pre-drilled holes, I drilled into wall anchors, to keep the rack from rotating. Mounted two of these (adult rack on top, kids rack below) a year ago and they have been rock solid. |
