Answer:	They are made of a tarp like material.I do not think waterproof as water would maybe seep into the zipper part.I would not trust them as waterproof.

Answer:	Water resistant. Not yet tried outside in the rain. This is meant to store clothes, blanke and comforters. Why would one store them outside.

Answer:	Yes, they can be stacked, and actually they stack quite nicely, particularly when they are full. I have stacked both the larger and smaller sizes three boxes high. I am sure they could be stacked even higher, though I don't have any currently stacked higher than that.
Question:	How much weight can it hold when stacked or carried
Answer:	I would say, in the range of 10-15 lbs., easily. I definitely wouldn't go over 20lbs. when carrying because you don't want to bust the stitch seaming of the container.
