Answer:	I don't know about taking it apart but putting it together only took about ten minutes if that helps. They are great racks, very sturdy!

Answer:	Just the pole is 14 and 3/8". Not counting any of the plastic where the pole fits into the scooper.

Question:	Can someone give me the measurements to the inside compartments? Thanks
Answer:	The measurements of an individual slot is: 11-7/8" deep, 4-3/4" tall and 6"wide. I use this as a shoe cubby and I've recently posted a photo.
Question:	One some pictures the cubes look 2 sizes, 2 rows are taller for higher heels, and one row is lower, for flats for example. Am I right
Answer:	They are all the same height and width. I deliberately left out two if the slides so I can fit my high heels (4in and above) and also squeeze in some flats. If you have a lot of high heels that are 4in. and above, this may not really satisfy your needs. I was quite disappointed especially as the picture looks quite big but it isn't. U can barely pi a pair in one.
