Answer:	I left the top two shelves big- like I skipped a layer of shelving to have a tall tier and the top. I love it but the material isn’t the most sturdy for heels.

Question:	What is the diamter of the metal pole? Can castor wheels be added
Answer:	The diameter of the poles of the frame is .5 inches. I doubt that castor wheels can be added because the metal tubes of the frame are hollow. Therefore, there would be nothing to attach the wheels to. However, the rack is very sturdy but also light weight. I have no problem picking it up (shoes and all) and moving it.
