| Answer: | each square is (roughly) 1 foot cubed (12" tall x 12" wide x 12" deep). So a 3x3 square organizer is 3'x3'x1'. the 2x3 square organizer is 2'x3'x1'. However, the inside of each cube space is more like 11.5"x11.5"x12" (or a little more if you set it away from the wall. for clearance, I'd say that any basket or canvas tote that measures 11"x11"x11" will work fine. Again, I used the standard canvas totes that they sell at walmart and it looks pretty sharp. hope that helps! (also, sorry it took me a while to reply over the holidays!) |

I bought 2 l angle brackets, found a couple of studs, screwed them into the wall and then screwed the bottom of the unit to the brackets. | Answer: | I just bought this and I'm very frustrated as everyone's answer measured way to high. IF aiming to be evenly spaced (to get 3 cubes as shown) it is 11" wide (from left to right), 11.75 " deep (from front to back) and then the height varies. The best HEIGHT spacing that it will allow is 10 7/18" at the bottom, 9.5" for the middle and top shelf. Therefore a storage cube of 10.5 inches in height will only work on the bottom (and snuggly at that) . 9 inches would be best. This really threw a wrench in my plans and I bought two to stack... ugh |
