The cord from the top part of the tree has a plug with 2 silver prongs that plugs into the lights in the middle of the tree and there is a cover that screws down to keep the connection secure. The same thing with the bottom--the middle plugs into the bottom and there is no extra outlet to plug in additional lights. As I said, you could add separate strings of lights, but they would have to be plugged into the power strip or a wall outlet. I have a separate cord than runs down the length of the tree so I can light up my angel. I could add extra lights on that cord if I wanted more. Hope this answers your question. |

Old model basket was fused with the filter. With time, you will get a non pressurized filter, for better espresso shots. Indeed you will need a nice espresso grinder as well for dialing in. Start with the bottom section of the tree and begin from the branches closest to the tree pole. Pull each individual tip upwards and outwards, working your way to the tip of the branches. Shape row by row to the upper part of the tree section. When one section is shaped, add on the next tree section and continue to shape the branches as described above.

Once you have finished shaping all the branches, look at the tree from a distance to look for areas that need more shaping to fill in any gaps. Pay attention to areas where the tree sections come together and adjust the branches accordingly for a nice seamless look.

If you have a pre-lit tree, shape the tree with the lights turned on to ensure that the lights are operating correctly.
