Answer:	My best guess, from a faulty light that I received the first time, is that they are done in sections. So with the faulty light, a middle section went out but the sections on either side were still on and functioning normally.

Answer:	You can get power adapters in multi packs. I bought a 10pk not too long ago for around $7.00. They make strip connectors that clamp onto the cut ends and also strip adapter with short wires soldered to them on one end as well that can be used with an adapter to connect to the power supply. As long as you buy 12 volt DC power adapters, you will be good to go on the cut ends.

Question:	Can you connect multiple strings together
Answer:	You can but these lights aren't the best. The strand I got has already gone out. They are also not that bright. There are not many lights inside the rope. They are spread out @ 8" apart. Will not buy again nor reccomend.
