There is many cut sections on the light stripe (every 3 feet). After cutting, make sure to close off the ends of the rope with an endcap and seal it with sealant or similar to completely close off the strip end to prevent any elements from getting in.

Cutting the rope may hinder the advertised performance and IP rating of the product therefore we cannot fully stand by the quality of the stripe light if it has been altered
