Answer:	It is a thick polyester(like soft shell jacket but 1/2 as thick and softer) with a fleece inside(its just a touch of fleece, not too thick). I find it comfortable but if its warm then claustrophobic as it retains warmth but I wear now to run outside in Northern California and I do get cold quickly. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Spandex is a very heat sensitive fiber. It also is sensitive to alkali detergents, chlorine bleach and abrasion. Any garment with SPANDEX (elastane) can be damaged by the dryer or the washer. Do not use hot water when washing. Hand washing is recommended for higher spandex content fabrics. Washing and drying methods depend to some extent on the spandex percent in the overall garment construction. Less than 5% follow the washing instruction for the main fabric. The more spandex content the more delicate the cleaning process one should use to retain the shape and elasticity of the fabric. At 15% spandex this shirt should be line dried for the best long term performance. I machine wash, cold water, on delicate, extra water, low spin speed, lowest agitation cycle in a garment bag and don't put any other heavy fabrics (like jeans) in the machine at the same time especially anything with abrasive hooks, buttons, snaps, or buckles as they can wear out the spandex, then I line dry and they come out wrinkle free. A mechanical wash machine is a good way to wear out your clothes, particularly the newer low water use ones, less water means more fabric rubbing together during the cycle. It also means more mechanical energy for cleaning rather than using the universal solvent: WATER. FYI: I design industrial washing machines for the past 30 years.

Answer:	I would recommend a large or X large. I initially ordered a M for my 12 year old niece that weighs around 120 lbs (tall). It barely overlapped so I ordered a large and it was better. However, i don't think the X large would have been too big. She loved it!
