Answer:	No. It's just a regular battery pack (3 AA) required. Only off and on switch. Pretty basic.

Answer:	These lights have a high drain factor on batteries. So they start out really bright for maybe a day or two, but you will see the lights dim to a softer glow afterwards. If that is a look you may want, it is really nice.

Answer:	You need to slide open the bottom side (not the side with the switch). I had to wet my thumb and apply pressure. You slide it towards the cord to open it. Very faintly, you can see the word "OPEN" between the two notches at the end opposite the cord. That is where you apply the pressure and slide towards the cord. I too at first push, pulled, and pressed, and then this finally worked. It was worth the effort!.

Answer:	LED's in parallel need resistors for each parallel circuit since the voltage drop for a given current is slightly different for each diode--one of the diodes would be stressed much more than the other diodes if they are directly in parallel. The maximum current should not be greater than 20 ma, so 10 ma might be a more reasonable design goal. Depending on which color diode is selected, voltage drops may be between 1.8 Volts and 3.0 volts. Four 3.0 volt diodes in series would drop 12 volts leaving 4 volts for the resistor. 10 ma through a 480 ohm resistor would be 4.8 volts, so that should keep the current through the 3-volt diodes slightly under 10 ma. Answer:	Yes they will need a Batteronical thing (Loopacell CR1225) on the side of the cake and wires connecting to the LEDs. If you want to turn them off remove the batteronical source. If the button shaped CR1225 gets lost inside the cake then at least one of the party people will po*p it out pretty soon.

Question:	I would like to use these to uplight Halloween tombstones would they be strong enough lighting for that
Answer:	Yes they can stay on one solid color. However, I didn’t get to enjoy them for a few minutes. Once I clicked on the different colors, all but two went out and would not come back on in dry conditions. Good luck 🍀 on getting them to work.
Question:	is there any way to order more remotes if i need one for each light? (on the mini 38mm ones that only come with 2 controllers and 10 lights
Answer:	You need to make the change thru the remote. Take one light at a time into an area away from the other lights. Set the one light to the color that you want it to be. Do the same thing to the remaining light. The key is not to have all lights around you when trying to change the coloring.

Question:	Can these be used outdoors
Answer:	The description by the manufacturer is IMO rather misleading as it states that the "wire is waterproof". Personally, I'd recommend not using them outdoors.
Question:	If you get the blue lights, are the string and bulbs blue or clear? Can you tell they are blue before they light up
Answer:	No I’m sorry the lights are horrible. I wish I would have gotten a refund.

Answer:	I use rechargeable batteries, so they should last indefinitely. I turn them on for 2-4 hours at a time and have changed the batteries once.
Question:	How big is the battery pack? I need to use them for a craft and need to be able to hide it
