Answer:	They are a 0.42 watt incandescent bulb. They will be warm once lit for hours, but they will never get hot.

Answer:	I agree with Dave Beame (1st comment). It's not a tight beam, but a flood. I mounted one about 10 ft out from my front door, which is about 5 ft wide, and one lamp lights the entire door adequately (not brightly). My old 20W halogen (at 10 ft) was noticeably brighter. I think I'll add a second LED and really show off my beautifully refinished light oak door. Conversely, comparing the old 20 W Hologen to this 1W LED pointed up on the brick and out 1 foot, there is very little difference. The Halogen was a gold amber light and this LED is a normal soft white. Very nice. I mounted the light on 3 ft PVC pipe in back of the shrubs to bring it up even with the top of the bushes. Caution, when trimming the hedges. ha

Answer:	I am not familiar with the Brickman connectors, but I used the ones that came with the lights. They are a simple crimp on type that uses metal points to pierce the wire. you can connect them anywhere on your 12 volt two conductor wire powering your lighting configuration. To take a look at the connectors search on Amazon for Moonrays 11604 Cable Connectors for Low Voltage Landscape Lighting, 2-Pack. I also have used this connector also found on Amazon (and Home Depot if you need them today):Malibu 8150-9802-02 Wire Connectors, 2 Pack. I found the Moonrays connectors harder to work with, but less fragile over time, especially if you disconnect/connect them a few times. B
Question:	Do these burn hot
Answer:	Yes, just a standard 12VAC wire-wound transformer, Malibu, etc. will do. It does not have to be specially for LED (diku). Most good old transformers weigh a couple pounds and about twice the size of your hand. (I don't like these new light weight electronic transformers) This should power a couple dozen 1W lamps. For correct sizing compare your transformer with a new one and read the label. It's best to oversize the transformer a little more than just adding up the watts of the lamps. If you are planning a large (many dozen) system, get help.

Answer:	They have to be plugged in to their own outlet. Also know that the plug is in the middle of the lights and not on an end, so you have to plug them in and then run them two different directions from the plug to cover what you want to light up. Answer:	The string I received is closer to magenta than true purple. My girlfriend who is a Vikings fans considers the string to be mor pink than purple. We have observed at a local light display that even the purple lights there appeared more magenta than purple when close up. Others had a magenta look even from a distance. This string is closer to magenta even from away back.

Answer:	No they are straight wired led lights but they work beautifully. There is a solar battery that can be replaced if it stops holding a charge, but mine come on and stay on all night

Answer:	As far as I know they are standard USA voltage of 120v. They are very inexpensive and we replace them every few months. They last several months on a indoor tree we highlight with the bulbs.
