I bought the mirror so I could see the back of my head when styling my hair. We mounted it on the wall (opposite our regular mirror) so I could have both my hands free for styling. One side is like a regular mirror, and the other is 7 x magnification and it is fantastic for seeing what you're doing in back. it is alot bigger than I thought it would be, but that's ok since it gives you a great view. it is heavy duty too, really well made. I absolutely would buy this mirror again, it has made doing my hair much easier. the only con is that the extender part of it is somewhat tough to extend at first. it loosens up after a few times.

Answer:	This posting area is not to the manufacturer of the mirror or the seller it was purchased from. it is for fellow consumers of the product. Coincidently, I had a "bolt" fall off two days ago after almost a year of use. My husband had a nut and bolt in his tool box that was the same size.

Answer:	Do return it! It's obviously a manufacturing defect. It will never look as good if you replace the pin with a nut and bolt. Amazon is quick with sending replacements!
