Answer:	We found the ph to be around 9-9.25. We filter into a large glass container throughout the day, so with it sitting in that, it comes out around 8.5 or so. We filter throughout the day usually 10-12 times and the filter lasts about 1 1/2 months before the ph starts going down.

After that, secure or press the flush bulb to the bottom of a faucet and run medium pressure through the filter for 1-2 minutes. Answer:	Hi there, that's a good question. There seems to be some confusion about the difference between terms TDS (Total Dissolved Solids, the "parts" in Parts Per Pillion) and contaminants. TDS is too general a measurement to determine the healthfulness of drinking water. A simple home TDS testing kit would show a high ppm reading because it is not able to discern between contaminants (such as arsenic, lead, mercury, etc.) and non-contaminant minerals (such as magnesium and potassium). Our filters maintain/add healthy amounts of minerals to your water, while filtering out non-organic and organic contaminants. All Seychelle filters have been rigorously tested for their contaminant filtration ability by numerous third party laboratories, including the County of Los Angeles Toxicology Laboratory. These laboratories have the equipment to test concentrations of each analyte individually and get a better picture as to what exactly is in the water. Answer:	Filter is an ION exchange and carbon composite; intention is for cold water filtration. I have never used hot water, warm is likely OK. I am not sure if hot would damage the filter to cause slower filtration. 16 ounces should filter in a couple of minutes.

The materials used in our filters have been rigorously tested by authority bodies such as SGS and independent ISO 17025 labs, as well as our own in-house engineer driven lab testing facilities to ensure quality from the start. Question:	Can I use it with well water
Answer:	Well water should not be a problem, the filter merely helps to remove impurities that are mixed into the water itself. If your well water has a funny taste i would recommend trying it. We use city water and unfortunately it has a lot of stuff mixed into it including old pipe decay and chemicals that help purify it, and it greatly improves the taste of our water and consistently lasts around 60-70 days for us

Question:	Does the top (white part) remove for cleaning? Does the plastic part that holds the filter remove? Is there a cover for the water fill hole
Answer:	The handle it self is not removable. The filter housing and reservoir, however does remove. I suggest using your 1st finger in the spout of the pitcher and your thumb to grab the reservoir, gently rock back and forth while pulling up. The entire reservoir will remove for easy cleaning. Make sure to take out your filter while washing and to dry your pitcher completely. I also recommend you Do Not Any scouring pads on the pitcher itself, as it will scuff and leave looking cloudy.
Question:	Does tbis pitcher remove heavy metals and flouride
Answer:	Yes! I have a Brita Ultra Dispenser and the long lasting filters are actually manufactured shorter than the 3 month white filters. This leads to the long lasting filters not being able to create a firm seal and they fill up my dispenser in a matter of seconds - even after making sure the filter is aligned correctly several times.
