I think if you replace the rivet with a removable bolt or pin you could reverse both jaws for use as a spreader. The only problem I can foresee is the handle getting in the way if the span you're starting with is too narrow.

Answer:	Hello! We're sorry to hear that your reservoir is stuck, and we'd like to offer a few tips to help. We recommend using two hands to pull the reservoir up from the body evenly on all sides. If that does not work, try placing it on the counter and letting it come back to room temperature. This works because the tank expands slightly and the water displaces as it warms up, allowing the reservoir to be slightly looser. You can also place your finger between the reservoir and the pitcher in the spout area to aid removal. Sometimes, the superheated steam gets trapped in the packaging and condenses back into water as it cools. These filters will be perfectly safe for use as they are still sterile inside of the packaging. Question:	how often should the filter be replaced
Answer:	Thank you for your inquiry. Activated carbon filters can remove low levels of sulfur sediment, manganese, and iron. However, maintenance and replacement of filter systems are very high because sulfur, iron, manganese and other suspended materials in the water soon clog the filter. So, while it may reduce the iron, it will not completely eliminate it and may require more frequent filter changes.
Question:	Does this shower head have really good water pressure? My hair is abnormally thick and I can’t stand hard water + how long it takes to wash my hair
Answer:	No home filters are rated to take out heavy metals, the manufacturers don't want to get sued if you have excessive contamination that they can't completely remove. You should try the filter for three days, then take a water sample and send it to the lab to see how many contaminants are left.
Question:	Does a filter come with this unit
Answer:	This is not a gravity filter. This filter works by water pressure forcing it through various chambers inside , I’m sure it will work even if its installed at any angle. That being said I won’t recommend this , ive had it for just about 6 months now and every time I use it rusty brown water comes out then clears , EVERY TIME . I complained to the company, the customer service rep says the same thing occurs in the one that she has in her own house. They are aware of this issue but will not do anything about it.

Answer:	PEX is just a supply line. It is an excellent product and would have no affect on using this filter system since all connections are made after the shut off valves under the sink. Now if you choose to put a filter inline and not at the valve, then special PEX brass connectors will be needed along with a PEX tool for installation.

Answer:	Hi dear customer, The filtration capacity for Chlorine is 5000G, and filtration life for LEAD is 1000G, so the filter life can be 1-3 years depend on your daily usage and it can even be 3 years, but we won’t suggest you do the cartridge change that long. As you know the filtration performance is dropping gradually when time goes by, so the longer time you use, the less good water you get. The best time is 1 year or less, the filter cartridge maintenance is much cheaper than the other brands, so it will still save you a lot of money even you change often. Frizzlife suggest no matter what brand of water filtration you will get, do not use that for over 3 years not changing the cartridge, the performance of filtering will be very very low.
