Answer:	This tank is really intended as a replacement of a failed (or perceived failed) one that looks like the Anaheim,except for color and labels. In that case installation is very simple. If you are intending to use this tank in a new installation, without an existing separate hot water faucet , then the installation will be more difficult since you will have to purchase the faucet somewhere and make connections to the house water supply. For such an installation you should by a kit that has a tank that looks like the Anaheim and the faucet as well. Then there will be instructions on how to install it.

Answer:	Yes, I saw the erroneous garbage disposal response too. The AH-1300 has only a one-year warranty, although you can buy an extended warranty if you wish. Our original unit operated fine for about five years before giving out. We've had the replacement, current one for a year now, and it's still functioning as advertised. A new, replacement unit isn't all that expensive, but if you have to have a plumber install it, that'll drive the cost up significantly. The plumber will probably be more than the heater.

Answer:	I’m sorry, I’m not sure about warranty. However, so far I’ve not had to charge mine since taking out of the box. I use it everyday.

Answer:	Boil some water, then let the tubing sit in the water for as long as needed.
Question:	Have 2 types of 5 gal jugs, threaded cap & lift off cap, neither of which will work with this dispenser. Where do I buy the rubber cap water bottle
Answer:	Mine is from Whole food and the 5 Gal Jug is threaded covered with a cap fits on threads only. It's not a seal. I am not sure if this product or any other such product will work for me.
Question:	when the bottle is almost empty, is it efficient sucking up the last bit? Will I have to jiggle or move the hose to get all the water out
Answer:	I just tip the bottle to move the last bit of water to the hose side. Gets every bit out.

Answer:	This one does not. I haven't found a reliable one yet that lets you use your own tap water and whatever filter. My old Elkay used 2 Brita filters, but it is about 8 years old and not what it used to be. If you happen to find one, please let us know!

Answer:	No, the unit does not have a 5 gallon jug. We use Crystal Springs Bottles now, but most should fit. We have used several others that worked well too.

Answer:	The cap is on the bottle. It means that you don't open the bottle until you turn it up side down. Then slowly remove the cap and liquid will pour into the hole in the sink. Wear gloves.

Answer:	The spout makes a stream about 1/8-1/4” diameter I think. We fill up our water bottles (20 and 32 oz) very easily and you could refill a store bought 16oz water bottle with a smaller opening but you would have to be sure to position it just right!

Answer:	I have 2 of this kind but smaller and they all have the same remote. They dont all work on the same frequency because if I picked up the wrong remote it does something different than what I am selecting on the remote. I have had my first buy for right at a year and 2 or 3 of the leds turned to red color no matter what color I choose,those few stay red. The snails love the combo. They stay under it all night long while that nighttime light is on. Other than that,my other identical light still works perfect. Sometimes the suction cups will come off the glass,but I still like and recommend these. If you have the extra money I would recommend buying the Glow Fish brand led strips lights..they will bring out your fishes colors more than these.

Answer:	I don't have any problem pouring water into glasses or bowls with the Brita. But there is one thing you need to beware of. The plastic top 'snaps down' in place. Sometimes it can come loose, and then a flood of water will pour out of the top, and over everything. To stop this from happening, I always put pressure on the top with one hand, when I am pouring water.

Answer:	The easy way to get the white part dislodged is this: Remove the filter. Fill the pitcher all the way up with warm water and a dab of dishwashing liquid. Now turn it upside down. The force of the water and gravity will dislodge the white part. The soap adds some extra slip to dislodge things and cleans the pitcher. I might be a 90 pound weakling but I'm still an engineer's daughter.

Answer:	Mythbusters tested this concept and busted it. Myth: You can turn low-end vodka into top-shelf vodka with six filtrations of a domestic charcoal water filter (i.e. Brita filters). They set up the experiment so that the vodka testers would each get 8 shots of vodka: 6 from the filtration stations (single filtered, twice filtered, etc...), 1 top-shelf vodka, and 1 unfiltered low-end shot. The tasters were asked to rank the shots. Anthony Dias Blue, vodka expert, executive director San Francisco World Spirits Competion: his ranking corresponded exactly to the number of filtrations, with the top-shelf vodka picked as the best. Anthony: "Passing a low-end vodka through a filter will make it better, but it won't make it a top-shelf vodka" They further analyzed the vodka samples and found that there was no difference in chemical composition between the filtered vodka and the unfiltered vodka. Conclusion: You're better off buying the top-shelf stuff than wasting a bunch of water filters.
