Answer:	Yes, same here. I took off my old showerhead and placed the filtered head on just as a regular shower head placement. It comes with an extra/replacement filter and screens. There was one screen I believe I placed on the filter before screwing it on the shower water pipe. It seems more daunting since it came without instructions, but very easy to install. You will be pleased once it is on! Once installed, turn on the shower and let the water run for a few minutes. The water initially is dark-colored but clears up. An added bonus for me was that the water pressure was much stronger after I installed this new filtered shower head! Good luck. I hope this message helped.

Answer:	The way you described it could be the tough one on tape that's used on the threads so the shower head don't leak you have to try to see if it pulls out and and unrolls wrap it tightly around the threads before putting the shower head up

Question:	how often should the filter be replaced
Answer:	Thank you for your inquiry. Activated carbon filters can remove low levels of sulfur sediment, manganese, and iron. However, maintenance and replacement of filter systems are very high because sulfur, iron, manganese and other suspended materials in the water soon clog the filter. So, while it may reduce the iron, it will not completely eliminate it and may require more frequent filter changes.
Question:	Does this shower head have really good water pressure? My hair is abnormally thick and I can’t stand hard water + how long it takes to wash my hair
Answer:	No home filters are rated to take out heavy metals, the manufacturers don't want to get sued if you have excessive contamination that they can't completely remove. You should try the filter for three days, then take a water sample and send it to the lab to see how many contaminants are left.
Question:	Does a filter come with this unit
Answer:	This is not a gravity filter. This filter works by water pressure forcing it through various chambers inside , I’m sure it will work even if its installed at any angle. That being said I won’t recommend this , ive had it for just about 6 months now and every time I use it rusty brown water comes out then clears , EVERY TIME . I complained to the company, the customer service rep says the same thing occurs in the one that she has in her own house. They are aware of this issue but will not do anything about it.

Question:	How often can the filter inside the shower head be replaced
Answer:	Yes. The sprayer operates separately. There is a knob located above the shower handle which controls the sprayer. You just turn the knob clockwise 180 degrees and the overhead shower turns off and the sprayer works on its own. When finished with the sprayer, just turn the knob again 180 degrees counterclockwise and hang the sprayer back on the holder. When finished showering, I usually turn the knob 45 degrees to the left and let all the water drain from the sprayer while holding it toward the floor of the shower. It takes about 15 seconds to drain all the water from the inside plumbing. Then I hang the sprayer up and turn the knob to the down position so that when I reenter the shower the next day and turn on the water, the water comes from the rainshower only. The reason I drain all the water from the pipes is that if I don't do that, at some point during the day, water will drip from the shower head and make the shower wet again. After each shower, I squeegie all the wet surfaces and dry everything with a medium hand towel. So when I'm finished showering, all the surfaces inside the shower are completely dry. This process only takes a couple of minutes to do, but the payoff is amazing. If you do this after each shower, your shower will stay sparkling clean and you will never have any mildew or spotted glass and you will never have to clean your shower because it will always look brand new.

Although your stones will keep filtering large particles long after that time period, the 4-6 months time frame is ideal. It's also worth mentioning that if you start feeling slower water flow or if you notice more frequent limescale buildup or any other signs of clogging you may want to replace your filtering stones more often. If you'd like to go scientific about it (like us nerds) you can get yourself a water tester for a few dollars and measure your shower water every couple of months to be on the safe side and once you see the level of solids go up it would make a good timing to replace filters.

Question:	Does this come with two filters as pictured
Answer:	The sprayer head is not like the sprayer head you find on a garden hose nozzle or on some shower heads. It does not have a selection of patterns such as soaker, flat, angled, mist, shower or jet. Besides the direct stream from the faucet the only other spray pattern on the faucet head would probably best resemble the shower stream pattern found on your garden hose nozzle. Hope that helps you.

Answer:	Hello, Thank you for your question on the Delta product. Both the Stainless Steel finish and the Chrome finish are manufactured out of the same material. Answer:	The recommended replacement time for filter balls is 60-100 days, and the recommended replacement for vitamin C Is 40-60 days.
