Answer:	The easy way to get the white part dislodged is this: Remove the filter. Fill the pitcher all the way up with warm water and a dab of dishwashing liquid. Now turn it upside down. The force of the water and gravity will dislodge the white part. The soap adds some extra slip to dislodge things and cleans the pitcher. I might be a 90 pound weakling but I'm still an engineer's daughter.

Answer:	Interesting question, back in the day antennas were how people got TV in their entire houses. Just like cable and satellite you have to connect the antenna to a splitter if you want to connect more than one TV. I would call Brita. It may be a defective filter. But the Bottle has been a blessing for me. I cant afford to keep buying those plastic bottles and the earth cant afford it either. I have other filtered bottles that are made for water not out of the tap which filter more. But they are hard to drink out of and I don't need that level of filtering from the tap. I like that you can turn it upside down to drink. I have one you have to suck on and squeeze and its a real pain. This has made life simple. I want to buy some different colors to keep for guests or to change out while cleaning one.

Answer:	As the others said: this water is for use with already treated water (thats basically what potable means). It cannot be used in a camping setting to make water safe (so no, it wont remove bacteria), but is best used with already filtered water to filter it further. Personally, I like using the filtered water from my fridge, which rates a 150mp, instead of the tapwater, rates 220 mp, to further filter it to 0mp. Also, the smaller mp water youre entering into the filter, the longer the filter should last.

Answer:	I "strangled" the filter like the ZeroWater helpline person advised to remove air from the filter - but it still stops half way full. I think it is cause the filter is down in the water too far. I don't think it is the snug airtight fit. I doubt there is anyway to fill the 23 cup reservoir. I am trying a thin piece of plastic to make sure it isn't the airtight issue. Will report back

Answer:	I am on my 2nd filter. I got the little universal ones to try in my current pitcher. The first one lasted about two weeks before the awful smell came. The 2nd one started smelling on day TWO. I can even taste it in the water. I have spring water and it reads at 174. The filter takes it down to 00 but it's not worth it for me to have my whole fridge smelling like this. Answer:	Yes it comes with meter. After three years I had to change the 2 batteries. No problem as I found replacements wherever batteries are found like CVS, Hime Depot or Lowe’s. Love zero water. It is the best. Taste great.

Answer:	This container comes with one filter. I do not know the number to the filter, however I tried to reorder from their website and had the same question. So I called customer support and they told me that one size fits all. I then went to bed baths and beyond website and purchased 4 filters for about $53. Shipping and handling included.
Question:	Is this fit the standard filter
Answer:	Q. Does the ZeroWater filter remove Fluoride? A. ZeroWater filters are not certified for the reduction of fluoride however fluoride is an inorganic compound. The TDS meter is designed to detect inorganic compounds. Fluoride levels in water are usually around 2 to 4 ppm, which will show up on the meter as 002 to 004. Question:	Does Brita Pitcher remove all chlorine
Answer:	I tested mt tap with the meter and got 400ppm. Cleaned and set up my new zero water dispenser/filter and ran tap water thru it- water now testing at zero! And it tastes great. I will say that I tried the PUR pitcher prior to getting zero water and after soaking filter as directed my water tasted like metal or charcoal - possibly due to hard water? However will be returning the pur now that the zero water has been successful in filtering my tap water - very pleased.

Answer:	I don't know, but don't buy it. It is impossible to change the filter. I made the mistake of buying 2 extra replacement filters and now I have to trash the whole thing. I have a well, so no fluoride issues.

Question:	Does this pitcher come with a filter, or do I need to buy the filter seperately
Answer:	I don't recommend using any chemicals but you could try soaking the unit (without the filter) in a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water. Then instead of dumping the water out try setting it on the counter and let the water freely flow from the opening until the smell goes away. May or may not require more than one go. Best of luck!
Question:	Just arrived. i don't see anywhere on the packaging that it is bpa free. how do your know that it is? other than that it says so on amazon
Answer:	I was not able to take mine apart for cleaning. I took the filter out and filled it with hot soapy water. Rinsed it out. Then filled it again with bleach water and rinsed it several times. Kinda disappointed with the design.
Question:	How do I get the reservoir out of the 5 cup metro pitcher

When inserting the filter, please remember to align the longest indentation in the side of the filter with the groove in the hole of the reservoir. Question:	Does the lid stay on when pouring
Answer:	This information is false, at least in 2019. I just received my black dispenser and it is just as tall as the grey one, not shorter, unfortunately. Which means it's around 10.5 inches tall.

Answer:	Hello! We're sorry to hear that your reservoir is stuck, and we'd like to offer a few tips to help. We recommend using two hands to pull the reservoir up from the body evenly on all sides. If that does not work, try placing it on the counter and letting it come back to room temperature. This works because the tank expands slightly and the water displaces as it warms up, allowing the reservoir to be slightly looser. You can also place your finger between the reservoir and the pitcher in the spout area to aid removal.
