12 best brita infuser water bottles

The Brita Infuser Water Bottle is a product designed to provide users with a convenient and portable way to enjoy filtered water on the go. It combines the functionality of a water bottle with the filtration capabilities of a Brita pitcher water filter.

Key features of the Brita Infuser Water Bottle include:

  1. Filtration Technology: Similar to Brita pitcher water filters, the Infuser Water Bottle uses a filter to reduce impurities and improve the taste of tap water. It can remove contaminants like chlorine, copper, cadmium, and mercury, while also eliminating the taste and odor of chlorine.

  2. Infuser Functionality: In addition to filtration, the bottle has an infuser compartment where users can add fruits, vegetables, or herbs to infuse their water with natural flavors. This feature allows for customizable and refreshing beverages.

  3. Portability: The bottle is designed to be portable and can easily fit in most cup holders, making it suitable for use at the gym, during outdoor activities, or while commuting.

  4. BPA-Free Materials: Brita typically uses BPA-free materials in their products to ensure that the water remains safe to drink.

  5. Reusable and Eco-Friendly: By using a reusable water bottle with a built-in filter, users can reduce their consumption of single-use plastic bottles, contributing to environmental sustainability.

  6. Capacity Options: Brita Infuser Water Bottles come in various sizes to suit different needs, ranging from smaller personal bottles to larger options for sharing or longer outings.

  7. Replacement Filters: Like other Brita products, the filters in these bottles need to be replaced periodically. The frequency of replacement depends on the model and frequency of use.

  8. Easy Maintenance: Maintaining the Brita Infuser Water Bottle is relatively simple.Regularly washing the bottle and replacing the filter when necessary is all that's required to keep it in good working condition.

It's important to note that product details, features, and availability may change over time, so it's a good idea to check the official Brita website or retailers for the most up-to-date information if you are interested in purchasing one.

User questions & answers

Question: Does drinking through the straw (swallowing air) make you gassy
Answer: No
Question: What type of filter is it ? Carbon
Answer: Yes
Question: oz water bottle is impossible to drink from. Is there a secret to sucking up from the straw
Answer: I have the 26 ounce water bottle. You just have to remember that the straw goes to the bottom of the bottle, therefore, the bottle must remain vertical. You cannot tilt it as you would a drinking glass. Hold the bottle as if it were sitting on a table and bend your head. Also, after refilling it, there will be air in the straw. Just continue to suck from the straw in the position as I have described and you will not have any problem.
Question: Are the stainless steel bottles dishwasher safe as well
Answer: Hi there! Great question. With Brita stainless steel bottles, always hand wash the bottle with a mild soap. The plastic lid can be washed in the top rack of the dishwasher or by hand if you prefer. Always remove the filter before cleaning your Brita® Premium Filtering Water Bottle. Val from the Brita Team

User questions & answers

Question: I have a mini fridge, can this be filled at night and lay on its side to be cold the next day and not leak
Answer: Thanks for asking! The Water Bottle Replacement filter for our Premium Filtering Water Bottle reduces Chlorine and Class VI Particulates. Class VI particulates are particulates (debris such as rust, dirt, sand, sediment that can make your water appear cloudy and cause a bad smell and taste) that are greater than 50 microns in size. We hope you find this information to be helpful. Should you have any further questions, you may contact our team at 800-242-7482 and mention this reference number: 190214-000609. We hope you'll be in touch. Aria from the Brita team
Question: Does anyone’s straws get black from the charcoal? I’m talking about the part you drink from. I can not seem to get mine clean! It’s so frustrating
Answer: Thanks for your question! Brita bottles are a great way to reduce plastic bottle waste while traveling. For a smooth departure, make sure your bottle is empty when going through the TSA checkpoint. After takeoff, be aware that pressure changes in the cabin may lead to a little water splashing out when you open the cap. You can easily avoid this by first releasing the pressure: Slightly unscrew and then re-screw the cap before drinking, and you’ll be all set. Happy travels! If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to us at 800-242-7482 and mention this reference number: 190124-000750. We look forward to hearing from you. Kai from the Brita team
Question: What does it filter? what is class vi? what would a ppm meter read between
Answer: Very useful for traveling
Question: Are the bottle and filter TSA approved
Answer: Yes, these Collapsible Water Bottles are dishwasher safe. Hope this would help. Please feel free to contact us if there is any problem or question and we would try our best to help. Have a good day!

User questions & answers

Question: My Brita filter keeps smelling bad even after cleaning. Any tips
Answer: Pitcher made in China, Filter made in Canada
Question: How often does it need cleaning
Answer: I don't have any problem pouring water into glasses or bowls with the Brita. But there is one thing you need to beware of. The plastic top 'snaps down' in place. Sometimes it can come loose, and then a flood of water will pour out of the top, and over everything. To stop this from happening, I always put pressure on the top with one hand, when I am pouring water.
Question: Is this dispenser compatible with the blue longlast filters or just the standard white ones? Thanks
Answer: The easy way to get the white part dislodged is this: Remove the filter. Fill the pitcher all the way up with warm water and a dab of dishwashing liquid. Now turn it upside down. The force of the water and gravity will dislodge the white part. The soap adds some extra slip to dislodge things and cleans the pitcher. I might be a 90 pound weakling but I'm still an engineer's daughter.
Question: How tall is the black one? It seems as though the black is shorter and wider than the gray one but getting mixed info. Thanks
Answer: Mythbusters tested this concept and busted it. Myth: You can turn low-end vodka into top-shelf vodka with six filtrations of a domestic charcoal water filter (i.e. Brita filters). They set up the experiment so that the vodka testers would each get 8 shots of vodka: 6 from the filtration stations (single filtered, twice filtered, etc...), 1 top-shelf vodka, and 1 unfiltered low-end shot. The tasters were asked to rank the shots. Anthony Dias Blue, vodka expert, executive director San Francisco World Spirits Competion: his ranking corresponded exactly to the number of filtrations, with the top-shelf vodka picked as the best. Anthony: "Passing a low-end vodka through a filter will make it better, but it won't make it a top-shelf vodka" They further analyzed the vodka samples and found that there was no difference in chemical composition between the filtered vodka and the unfiltered vodka. Conclusion: You're better off buying the top-shelf stuff than wasting a bunch of water filters.

User questions & answers

Question: Where is it made
Answer: Interesting question, back in the day antennas were how people got TV in their entire houses. Just like cable and satellite you have to connect the antenna to a splitter if you want to connect more than one TV. Or you can do like I did and get a Fire TV RECAST and connect that directly to the antenna and you have TV at every location on your Fire TV stick. You will need an AMPLIFIER to boost the signal to multiple TV’s also.
Question: Is the spout designed in such a way to prevent water from dripping or splashing all over the place? I would be using it around books & paperwork
Answer: No
Question: I cannot get the white part out. it is stuck and i'm afraid if i force it; it will break. is there any way to get it out
Answer: No. This receives free over-the-air local TV stations. I use mine when my AT&T cable service is down. I'm on the verge of dropping my cable TV service and just using streaming internet services plus this antenna and saving a lot of money.
Question: Has anyone tried filtering vodka with it
Answer: it has adhesive, i put it in a window, but didnt get any channels.

User questions & answers

Question: Brita filters for sports bottles are described as removing the chlorine “taste” - does this mean that NO impurities are actually removed
Answer: Yes it does
Question: Why does it say “used” next to the number of filters
Answer: My thought exactly.
Question: Does this fit the Brita BB08 hard sided 16.9 oz water bottle
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, it is!
Question: Ok a 5 count filters is $16.99 but the "best value" is a 10 count for $59.99. Now math is not my best subject but seriously
Answer: Have had no issues with leaking whatsoever. The spout where it goes into the filter might leak but if you tighten it, it should not. I don't see a problem "pushing" water out either. I would call Brita. It may be a defective filter. But the Bottle has been a blessing for me. I cant afford to keep buying those plastic bottles and the earth cant afford it either. I have other filtered bottles that are made for water not out of the tap which filter more. But they are hard to drink out of and I don't need that level of filtering from the tap. I like that you can turn it upside down to drink. I have one you have to suck on and squeeze and its a real pain. This has made life simple. I want to buy some different colors to keep for guests or to change out while cleaning one.

User questions & answers

Question: Does this pitcher come with a filter, or do I need to buy the filter seperately
Answer: As the others said: this water is for use with already treated water (thats basically what potable means). It cannot be used in a camping setting to make water safe (so no, it wont remove bacteria), but is best used with already filtered water to filter it further. Personally, I like using the filtered water from my fridge, which rates a 150mp, instead of the tapwater, rates 220 mp, to further filter it to 0mp. Also, the smaller mp water youre entering into the filter, the longer the filter should last.
Question: Just arrived. i don't see anywhere on the packaging that it is bpa free. how do your know that it is? other than that it says so on amazon
Answer: I "strangled" the filter like the ZeroWater helpline person advised to remove air from the filter - but it still stops half way full. I think it is cause the filter is down in the water too far. I don't think it is the snug airtight fit. I doubt there is anyway to fill the 23 cup reservoir. I am trying a thin piece of plastic to make sure it isn't the airtight issue. Will report back
Question: How do I get the reservoir out of the 5 cup metro pitcher
Answer: I am on my 2nd filter. I got the little universal ones to try in my current pitcher. The first one lasted about two weeks before the awful smell came. The 2nd one started smelling on day TWO. I can even taste it in the water. I have spring water and it reads at 174. The filter takes it down to 00 but it's not worth it for me to have my whole fridge smelling like this. Going back to my standard. Sorry zero water.
Question: Does the lid stay on when pouring
Answer: TEST SHOWS THAT ZERO WATER FILTER DOES FILTER OUT FLUORIDE: I have used the Zero Water filter for years (simply because I like zero taste in my water) and have been wondering recently if it filtered out fluoride. Since there is not a definitive answer in this thread I decided to test it myself. I confirmed a level of 0.75 ppm at my home before filtering (0.25 ppm is naturally occurring). Testing showed that the Zero Water filter did filter out fluoride. The test showed that fluoride levels dropped to

User questions & answers

Question: Is this nsf certified to remove pfnas? is it a carbon-based system
Answer: Yes it comes with meter. After three years I had to change the 2 batteries. No problem as I found replacements wherever batteries are found like CVS, Hime Depot or Lowe’s. Love zero water. It is the best. Taste great.
Question: Does this come with a filter
Answer: This container comes with one filter. I do not know the number to the filter, however I tried to reorder from their website and had the same question. So I called customer support and they told me that one size fits all. I then went to bed baths and beyond website and purchased 4 filters for about $53. Shipping and handling included.
Question: Is this fit the standard filter
Answer: Q. Does the ZeroWater filter remove Fluoride? A. ZeroWater filters are not certified for the reduction of fluoride however fluoride is an inorganic compound. The TDS meter is designed to detect inorganic compounds. Fluoride levels in water are usually around 2 to 4 ppm, which will show up on the meter as 002 to 004. So when filtered water reads 000 it is not likely that fluoride is present in water. For more FAQs about filters go to www.zerowater.com.
Question: Does Brita Pitcher remove all chlorine
Answer: I tested mt tap with the meter and got 400ppm. Cleaned and set up my new zero water dispenser/filter and ran tap water thru it- water now testing at zero! And it tastes great. I will say that I tried the PUR pitcher prior to getting zero water and after soaking filter as directed my water tasted like metal or charcoal - possibly due to hard water? However will be returning the pur now that the zero water has been successful in filtering my tap water - very pleased.

User questions & answers

Question: Does this pitcher come with a filter, or do I need to buy the filter seperately
Answer: I don't recommend using any chemicals but you could try soaking the unit (without the filter) in a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water. Then instead of dumping the water out try setting it on the counter and let the water freely flow from the opening until the smell goes away. May or may not require more than one go. Best of luck!
Question: Just arrived. i don't see anywhere on the packaging that it is bpa free. how do your know that it is? other than that it says so on amazon
Answer: I was not able to take mine apart for cleaning. I took the filter out and filled it with hot soapy water. Rinsed it out. Then filled it again with bleach water and rinsed it several times. Kinda disappointed with the design.
Question: How do I get the reservoir out of the 5 cup metro pitcher
Answer: Hello! Thank you for reaching out. Both Brita Standard and Brita Longlast filters are compatible with the Brita UltraMax. When inserting the filter, please remember to align the longest indentation in the side of the filter with the groove in the hole of the reservoir. Then press down firmly to ensure a snug fit, and that should do it. We hope this has been helpful! Mel from the Brita team
Question: Does the lid stay on when pouring
Answer: This information is false, at least in 2019. I just received my black dispenser and it is just as tall as the grey one, not shorter, unfortunately. Which means it's around 10.5 inches tall.

User questions & answers

Question: Can this make hose water drinkable
Answer: it comes with one filter. That should give you roughly 40 gals of filtered water. The filter is the same as in my larger Brita pitcher
Question: How to dismantle the handle to wash
Answer: Great question, Kathy! All of our products are BPA free. Our Brita pitchers have always been BPA free. If you have any further questions, please call us at 1-800-24-BRITA Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM EST. We're always happy to help! - Brita Consumer Services
Question: Any trouble with the longlast filter not fitting correctly
Answer: Hello! We're sorry to hear that your reservoir is stuck, and we'd like to offer a few tips to help. We recommend using two hands to pull the reservoir up from the body evenly on all sides. If that does not work, try placing it on the counter and letting it come back to room temperature. This works because the tank expands slightly and the water displaces as it warms up, allowing the reservoir to be slightly looser. You can also place your finger between the reservoir and the pitcher in the spout area to aid removal. Please give us a call at 800-24BRITA for further assistance, and be sure to mention this reference number: 171228-000487. We look forward to hearing from you! Mel from the Brita team
Question: can you just use the standard britta filter that last for 2 months with this pitcher
Answer: Yes, the lid stays in place when pouring. I am very pleased with this product.
