Question:	Does it make sence to upgrade this system with deionization filter when it has alkaline filter
Answer:	Smart Flow Sensor Switch powers on/off UV light automatically by water flow, so it must be installed after the storage tank where water flow is high enough, if you install it before the storage tank the water flow will be to slow for the Sensor Switch to turn the light on.
Question:	Is there an indicator that tells you when the filters need replacing, or do you guess ~6 months for uv light and the ph cartridge & 12 for membrane
Answer:	TWS is more powerful than ows. 55w compare to 40W. We normally suggest our customer install the OWS unit horizontally. Cause vertically installation might need extra support if the pipe is plastic. But that was not a problem for TWS system.
Question:	how many gallons of water is wasted to make 1 gallon of filtered water
Answer:	As long as you protect it from freezing, it has to be plugged in, we have it installed inside. We are on a well, have a sediment filter, a carbon filter then the UV water purifier installed in the same line. Going to get a test kit and test the water for bacteria and see how well it does.

Question:	How much water does the system use to flush all the contaminants. My present system uses 3/4 of a gallon to produce 1 gallon of clean water
Answer:	well you could filter salt water with it, but it still wouldn't be potable to humans =)
Question:	Is it possible to add uv light to this system? how much would it cost
Answer:	You'll have to go on the data sheet from the manufacturer on the filter fiber diameter since no consumer can reasonably measure the filter tube diameters. And you'll have to do research on bad virus sizes to determine if those viruses will be blocked. But I'll say as a consumer of this filter over twelve days on the trail, serving 4 people (48 people-days) on the AT, no gastro-issues. And the filtering flow rate is amazingly fast.
Question:	Does this system come with a faucet or must that be ordered additionally
Answer:	Everything that you see illustrated. There are two reservoirs, the filter and the hose. The only thing not included is the optional carbon filter which isn't neccessary. If you do opt to purchase the carbon filter, keep in mind that it slows down the filtration time drastically.

Answer:	No, but it is surprisingly very long compared to others that I have seen.

Question:	Looking to purchase a matching faucet. Is the faucet that comes with the kit Polished Chrome or more of a brushed/matte
Answer:	No, you need to plumb in the water line. It is on our counter and the water source is not nearby, so we ran a water line through the wall and into the kitchen.
Question:	My water leaves terrible white spots on my pots and pans and anything glass from the dishwasher.. Will this filtration system solve this problem
Answer:	Yes, and super easy to install because the filters are already installed
Question:	How long will last? i bought it back on august
Answer:	This unit uses the standard ice maker diameter hose. It is best to put the the supplied valve as close to source as possible. You would need a t adapter BEFORE the supplied valve in order to split off two ways to the fridge and to the valve. This t adapter is not supplied and the supplied valve may not fit your American piping. Be prepared to make adjustments to the installation. Installation was not hard, but patience and a trip to the hardware store should be expected. It is important to make the water split before the valve because the flow will have to be turned off many times during installation, if there is a leak and when flushing the filters. Otherwise, you are cutting water off the fridge unnecessarily.

Answer:	Best theoretical performance would be: 12V*35AHr = 420W*Hr = 3.5 Hr. Of course the inverter has a loss due to efficiency (not stated...maybe 90%) and the guitar amp is not going to draw 120W continuously. It will probably draw about 1/4 of that on average. It depends on you!. It should last a while

Answer:	I have connected to both. Ice is not completely clear, but sediment does not settle out of the ice while melting in a clear glass of water! You might need parts. Don't know your water line size. Consider replacing your existing water filter on your ice maker while your doing this. I did not need parts.

Answer:	While there would be no chlorine down stream of the RO cartridge, the water in tank should be too low in nutrients/food for any significant bacterial growth

Answer:	A SS pressure vessel is not at all needed. Prop 65 is literally plastered over anything and everything in CA. These RO systems have to pass many certifications and are legal under the uniform plumbing code, the CA plumbing code as well as the Los Angeles plumbing code. Leaching is not an issue. Answer:	I tested all the 12 bottles I ordered, most of them are 6 and some even lesser than 6

Answer:	Both are good. My preference is Icelandic. The Icelandic water is a bit harder compared to Ice Age. The Icelandic water also has a very subtle sweetness to it. If money isn't a concern, you must try, Svalbarði Iceberg water. A good resource for all bottle water is, finewaters.com. They list mineral content, estimated age, source details, etc.
Question:	can the system can handle inlet fresh water temperature up to 50 degrees Celsius
Answer:	This is from a web-site one of their distributors "The level of deuterium in this water is -53,4‰, which means that it is -53,4‰ less than ocean water. Ocean water is used as the guide for measuring deuterium content of water and is approx 155ppm deuterium. This means this water has a deuterium level of approx 148ppm." I believe I saw this text directly on the icelandicglacial.com web-site, but cannot find it anymore.

Answer:	According to the 2016 NSF International (until 1990, known as the National Sanitation Foundation) analysis of Icelandic Glacial water, there was no detectible flouride in their tested samples. When the Laki fissure volcano erupted in 1783, it sent enormous quantities of fluorine and sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere as the lava degassed on reaching the surface. So it is probable that the hardened lava has minimal fluorine residue, under the reporting limit. Question:	Can this system work with my fridge ice maker and facet
Answer:	An RO system should remove calcium chloride from your water, this system by EW will strip the water of all mineral content, then it adds back minerals for taste and water quality. This system is easy to set up, but it has a limited flow through, ie GPM. You might also consider adding a conditioner unit at the entry point for the water service. There are some anti scale magnets and other low cost devices to curtail the hard water precipitation. This would protect your interior plumbing from scaling and erosion.

Answer:	Depending on how good or bad city water is, filters should be changed every 4-6 months, I'd say. The system itself is very well built so it would last a long time.
