Answer:	You just want to find crimps with a inside diameter of at least .071 since different brands use different sizing scale that I know of anyway.

Question:	I got the 16 oz mug and the red was more of a dark pink. Is the 20 oz version the same way
Answer:	I have no experience with the previous model, but I have owned the BV1901TS for about three weeks now. I make a full 8-cup carafe each and every morning and drink it over a period of 3.5 hours. As far as I am concerned, the coffee stays nice and hot. My only complaint is that Bonavita still has not managed to correct the design flaw that prevents you from fully draining the carafe. No matter how much you shake the thing while holding it upside down, the rim or lip on the inside traps some fluid. The only way to completely drain and dry the carafe is to use a towel and soak up all the fluid left inside. Hope this helps.

Answer:	As a dual wall stainless carafe, it does leave a bit of coffee (or water after rinsing) inside, it but it's honestly no big deal as it's not even a half-tablespoon worth of liquid left behind after tipping it upside down to empty it. A quick wipe with a clean cloth or paper towel and it's gone.
Question:	How does it know whether to keep the drink hot or to keep it cold
Answer:	I wouldn't. I mean sure it is more convenient but when you put any blade in a dishwasher it ruins the temper of the steel. I hand wash all my fine blades.

Answer:	That is the inside of the underside of the lid. The lid has a few layers/components (most of which come apart for cleaning). Easy to put back together. And that hook clips the next layer onto the top and that's what makes it TOTALLY spill-proof! I love mine, by the way :)

Answer:	The outside of the thermos does not get warm at all. Under the cover is a screwed on bottom of the lid. You have to make sure that that is tight or it could leak. You also have to make sure you put the lid on with the lid open and not closed because the vacuum gets so tight that I am unable to get it off. This thermos is excellent. It actually keeps hot liquids whether it be coffee, broth, or tea hot all day long.

Answer:	Is this for the North Korean army? I'm pretty sure Amazon does not carry so many in stock. You may want to buy directly from Thermos which is the company that makes these. Answer:	When I asked Bonavita directly where I could buy the descaler that came with the coffee maker in the box , they replied that it's no longer made. And that Bonavita recommends the brand "Full Circle" cleaning powder. I have extremely hard water where I live and it's ruined at least 2 coffee makers because I relied on the old fashioned method of using Vinegar which did not even touch the heavy calcification plagued my former coffee makers. I've descaled now twice and a proper product has made a big difference in how much the coffee and flow are restored as soon as I descale. With extremely hard water, I descale after every 75 uses not the recommended 100. And it has really helped.

I also have a ceramic lined Stanley and it has the same issue. I'm starting to think that this a bad quality of ceramic and the opposite of what I was trying to purchase. Answer:	I have 4 12 oz. & 4 16 oz. tumblers & so far I have not had a problem with any peeling. I hand wash with mild detergent & a wash cloth. The 16 oz. tumblers are used daily & I’ve had all the tumblers for a few months.

Answer:	Yes but keep in mind you cannot close the opening with a straw in it. Not sure of its ability to keep temp while open. Also keep in mind this is not a large cup. It is about the size of a small mug so over half the straw is outside the cup.
