Answer:	I received the 20 oz tumbler with magslider lid for Christmas. It is NOT leak proof. If it turns over or is tilted in your purse or bag, it will and does leak! I just called YETI (01/02/2018) in Austin, Texas and asked about this and they confirmed it is not leak proof. If you need something leak proof, they said to get a YETI with the scree on lid! The magslider is not a good product if you need something that does not leak.

Answer:	Yes, it does retain carbonation. I have had seltzer water, ice and lime slices in mine and it stayed cold, icy and bubbly for at least 2 hours. I'm sure it would've lasted longer, but I drank it by then.

Answer:	I have 4 12 oz. & 4 16 oz. tumblers & so far I have not had a problem with any peeling. I hand wash with mild detergent & a wash cloth. The 16 oz. tumblers are used daily & I’ve had all the tumblers for a few months.

Answer:	If it's metal, then no. I did find the outside finish runs off very easily which I was very disappointed to find out.

Answer:	Yes I’ve had 2 they flake off like crazy. I finally got the stainless steel one and it does great and believe it or not it’s lighter in weight. I wouldn’t have thought the paint would make much of a difference but it does.

Answer:	That is the inside of the underside of the lid. The lid has a few layers/components (most of which come apart for cleaning). Easy to put back together. And that hook clips the next layer onto the top and that's what makes it TOTALLY spill-proof! I love mine, by the way :)
Question:	Over time, does the mug retain flavors or smells? I only get 3-4 months of daily coffee use out of my mugs before they start retaining flavors/smells
Answer:	The outside of the thermos does not get warm at all. Under the cover is a screwed on bottom of the lid. You have to make sure that that is tight or it could leak. You also have to make sure you put the lid on with the lid open and not closed because the vacuum gets so tight that I am unable to get it off. This thermos is excellent. It actually keeps hot liquids whether it be coffee, broth, or tea hot all day long.

Answer:	Is this for the North Korean army? I'm pretty sure Amazon does not carry so many in stock. You may want to buy directly from Thermos which is the company that makes these. Answer:	I am now on my 4th 16 oz. Contigo travel mug and the last 3 , the seals were the problem as they start to leak and then the seals came out. Answer:	I am now on my 4th 16 oz. Contigo travel mug and the last 3 , the seals were the problem as they start to leak and then the seals came out. I just ordered the 3rd one in June 2020 and the seal just fell out yesterday in October 2020. If this one does the same thing, I will not buy another one of these Contigo travel mugs.
