Answer:	I run about a 10-12 foot 12 lb flurocarbon bumper off of 30 lb braid with no issues. I use a double uni knot.

Answer:	Switch is on the bottom of the vertical main pole. The cord is coiled, it is thick and rather rigid. It's enough to stretch to the length of the vertical main pole. There's no automatic on/off switch for heat. But we use it all the time
