Answer:	I believe it is a form of synthetic rubber. I do not know how much gravel is in your path that you speak of, but in my experience, it would not be a problem. Especially because of the large wheels that assist on non flat paths.

Answer:	You can get this, but you’re going to hate your life when you try to pull it across the sand!!! I own a beach rental supply company and I live at the beach year round. This model’s tires are too narrow. It will sink in the sand. There is another model that has wide tires (approx 6” wide each). THAT is the one that will roll MUCH easier over the sand!!! And it’s awesome. It’s the only one I offer to my customers.

Answer:	The handle of this cart is much higher than my old collapsible grocery cart. My figure is not short, about 6'3 ", and my wife is about 5'8". The handle is covered with a sponge. It feels very good, and people who are taller or shorter than me also can use it too. I don't need to bend over to push or pull it.

Answer:	The wheels work great on the stairs. I have carried a full cart with heavy items and it is a bit of a struggle for me to pull it up. I am 5'2" 115lbs with not much arm strength. I do have a tendency to over "stuff" at times. I wish it had swivel wheels at times to take the turns, but overall I love my Deluxe Basket. If the stair walking wheels ever break, I will be shopping Amazon for fast delivery of the wheels! LOL It is much Bigger and sturdier than one we found with plain wheels at Kmart!

Answer:	Being 81-year old male, I can lift it with one hand. It's listed on the product information page as 12 pounds. I have tip for ya: just roll it against the back of your car, the push handle facing the trunk opening and resting on the bottom of the opening. Bend down and grasp the front wheels and lift the cart and just slide it into the trunk. This action will cause it to fold itself flat and it should be easy thing to slide the cart in.... Ditto on pulling it back out of the trunk...
