Question:	How heavy are each of these meals? I want to use them for a backpacking trip
Answer:	The 6-pack MRE should be available this week (the week of Nov. 10, 2013) or next week at the latest (the week of Nov. 17th, 2013). Please note that the 6-pack MRE is not half of the premium case as they are very different products. The 6-pack case contains an entree and dessert and averages 600+ calories per meal. This product, the case of 12 Premium MREs, contains an entree, dessert, a side dish, bread or crackers, a spread ( ie cheese, peanut butter, jam etc), hot sauce and cocoa beverage and averages over 1,200 calories per meal. Both the 6-pack and the case of 12 Premium MREs contain flameless ration heaters, cold drink mix, 6" military spoon, instant coffee, creamer, sugar, salt, pepper, wet nap and napkin.
Question:	Will the smaller (red, 6-pack) MRE be available again? I would like to purchase a smaller package to test, before committing to a larger purchase
Answer:	That was my biggest concern. Mine was just a couple of months from prod. Date... Mine has a long shelf life left.

Question:	How does they compare to the XMRE 1300XT MRE's? I'm trying to decide between the two, thanks
Answer:	I cannot find a ou kosher symbol on the package. I did find a circle with an x symbol inside the circle. Part of the x looks like a wheat symbol meaning no wheat. Underneath the circle, it states Certified Gluten-Free CUK-G-039. It does state on the package NON GMO, DAIRY FREE and WHEAT FREE. I don’t know if this completely answers your question or not. I have to eat gluten free because I have Celiac Disease. These have turned out to be the best bread for me. Best Wishes. LADYD😇
